Re: The NFBC ALL-STAR Auction in Las Vegas (5 SPOTS LEFT)
Sounds like a great group of owners, but I don't get the format. With no FAAB, it seems like a lottery on who gets injured -- a waste of all the skill you've assembled.

team stats format problem
Greg,
The team stats page column widths changed yesterday so that the numbers are squeezed over to the right and names take up most of the page.

Re: Win $200,000 In The Debut NFBC Platinum League
Concerning spectators, I wouldn't mind, but they would need to be QUIET -- like at tennis, or golf events -- which would make it boring for them. I think it would be better to set up a second room that shows the draft board, but would allow talking and commentary. They do this at bridge and chess to...

Re: Win $200,000 In The Debut NFBC Platinum League
First -- I would strongly prefer to know my draft slot more than a week before -- just like the main event. Have an online chat room (or phone) auction one to two weeks before the draft. Someone nominates a spot (eg pick #1) and there is an auction for that. Next person nominates next pick to bid on...

Re: Win $200,000 In The Debut NFBC Platinum League
Iron balls, meh. Been there done that. I don't know Mouth I personally just want to come in the room dump my crap in my spot, fire up the devices, dig out the sheets and shoot the sh!t. Your iron balls fire drill is too chaotic. Everyone just stands around with a boatload of gear and nowhere to par...

Re: What Is Needed To Save Time On FAAB?
to make FA quicker:
ability to download the entire FA pool to a spreadsheet. I do that now with copy and paste, but it takes some time.
to make lineup setting quicker:
ability to see stats for last 7, 14, 21, 28 days (as we can on FA)

Re: What Technical Improvements Would You Like To See?
for team stats have option in drop down box for last 7 days, last 14 days, last 21 days, last 28 days, just like you have on the FA page. this would save time on setting lineups (and deciding who to drop for FA)

Re: What Technical Improvements Would You Like To See?
I'd really like last 7 days, 14 days, 21 days, 28 days stats avilable on our lineup pages to quickly see who's hot, who's losing AB etc. We have it for FA.

Re: NFBC Rules Changes Discussion For 2013
I'll jump into the lion's den. 1. Concerning IP, when we went from 700 to 900 and jumped over 800, the discussion then was that we would stay at 900 for a while. 2. I would like to see Friday P moves (if P on IR) allowed again. It was overkill to eliminate them just to eliminate a rarely used trick....

The answer is David DiDonato and his "bustouts" in the Diamond. There was a message board thread in April where David predicted power from Ellsbury (I was skepical) and I got him 3rd place (and 5 points from winning).

Diamond League Draft Order
exciting race, but my main thought is I'm glad I had #3 pick instead of #2. If I had #2 I'd have Hanley and be out of the race. With #3 I got Miggy.

NFBC season called on account of rain
Need to start a fantasy weatther league. Catagories are precipitaion, temp, max wind speed pollen count. Draft or auction different cities. If people will do fantasy Nascar, golf or fishing, they'll do anything.

just did reprojections last weekend. although in 80's point range with most of my teams, no major regrets. been lucky with missing the major injuries, however have Crawford and Hanley on some important teams. thankfull I had 3rd pick in diamond, not 2nd, so have Miggy instead of Hanley. Wins: have J...

bustouts predicted at beginning of season that Ellsbury would post numbers predicted for Crawford. That possibility wasn't even on my radar screen. Kudos for David.

This was a know risk with Ellsbury. I didn't understand his high ADP when Pierre, R. Davis and Gardner were available several rounds later and projected to roughly the same value (Gardner not quite as much because of lower BA).
