Re: What Technical Improvements Would You Like To See?

It's already happening my friend. Assuming your team Captain Crunch III in 2438, it's already happened. Cheers! Well, you got me there. Congrats. You're obviously one of the great roto players of all time. I'm also hugely impressed with your ability to cherry-pick draft values in mid-August. Nice w...

Re: What Technical Improvements Would You Like To See?

Dear Deadheadz, Goodness, please get over yourself. The guy had a great draft ... and therefore everyone else in the league (including me) is a stiff? Sometimes I cash, sometimes I don't ... but I have a ton of fun trying ... my way ... and I've done very nicely thank you very much - although you'll...

Re: What Technical Improvements Would You Like To See?

For viewing overall standings, I like to see all categories on one sortable page if I can - rather than have to look at ten different pages to see the different categories. Something like this ... just click on the column headers to sort.

Re: What Technical Improvements Would You Like To See?

How about playing a sound each time a draft pick is made? Maybe it could be offered as an option - for those who wouldn't want to have this feature. Then you can look up from all the crap on yer desk or lap or whatever and see who has been picked - instead of having to stare at the screen. Of course...

Re: ADP lists

Outlaw:

That could certainly explain it.

If this is the case, perhaps a note explaining this qualification (i.e minimum number of times drafted) could be added to the blurb at the top of the web page displaying the lists.

Thanks for the reply.

ADP lists

Would it be possible to have someone at STATS review how they generate their adp lists? How can a list that clearly includes 15-team drafts (max pick = 450) have only 428 names? This is currently the case with the list of 35 live drafts since March 1. This list should have at least 450 names, and in...

Re: ADP Tweaks

The current adp list of live drafts (20) since March 1 has only 397 names. Since there have been some 15-team drafts, shouldn't there should be more than 450? Also, what about making the raw data (including type of draft and date) available ... then people could select the subset they want. In this ...

Re: Thoughts On 75 Second Limit For Online Drafts

A 15-team draft shouldn't take more than 4 hours - that's 16 minutes per team. So, give each drafter a 16-minute clock ... when their 16 minutes are done, they go on auto and can't change from that. In this way, you can go a little faster at the start, think a bit more in the middle (especially afte...

Re: pre-rankings

That's nice ... but the issue here is not the simple task of extracting data and ordering it in excel ... it's that reordering the default list is a lot of work. I want the same list visible in the draft room as I have on my spreadsheet (and I'm sure there are many others who want their draft room l...

Re: pre-rankings

If you use Firefox, go to your draft rankings page and hit CTRL U (might be the same in IE etc., I dunno). This brings up the page source. Then, when you are in the window with the html code, use CTRL F and search for the player. So when you search for Presley, you'll see this line: <option value="8...

Yup, a two-round queue for at or near the turns would be great.

Re: Live Drafts ADP - 02/20

As of today, the draft with Stauffer at #1 is now part of the 38 drafts included in the "all drafts" list! There are other anomalies as well.

Can someone please look into this? I'm sure it's easily fixed.

Live Drafts ADP - 02/20

Please double-check the Live Drafts ADP ...

As of today (02/20):

Five drafts - but only 366 players listed ... seems to be some missing.
Tim Stauffer at #1? etc.

Re: Import Rankings Now Available For NFBC Online Drafts

The 'move to bottom' is a nice idea. Another thing that would help is a search function. Right now, the only practical way I can see to find a player quickly is to open up another window showing the html source code and to search it for the position of the player of interest. Down the road, what wou...

Victor Martinez and the current ADP list

It's been some time since the news that he would miss the entire season, yet his ADP in 18 drafts is: #37 Victor Martinez (C, Det) 37.67 24 63 18 I notice that the number of drafts goes up gradually which makes me think that at least some of them have occurred recently. If so, I would expect his max...

Re: Draft practice?

Thanks. A couple of other things: I like to change the draft rankings around, but it seems as if I'll have to do that for each team. Any plans to have a draft ranking that could be saved and applied to multiple teams? Also, in reviewing the ADP list today, there is a live draft ( http://nfbc.stats.c...

What is currently being used? Is there a practice draft room? Just wondering about being able to test functionality ... and become familiar with how it works ... before a real draft.

Thanks.
