NFBC Online Championship Proposal
The time constraints may be why it may not be as big as I'd like to see it. For a $500 entrance fee, it's too easy for someone to blame computer problems on a bad pick or being timed out. It offers an undue advantage to the one who massages it. I can understand it happening one time but 5-6 times in...

NFBC Online Championship Proposal
My only take on this is that it's a good idea and one I would partake in. However, you would need to adhere to a stricter enforcement of the time allotted per player. In one of my midseason leagues, an owner was given Gil Meche because he failed to make a pick in time. The owner had no computer malf...

Hole In One Today, But Not By Me!
Great story Greg. I know the feeling. Got invited to play at an ultra exclusive course in West Olive Michigan by the name of Wuskowhan Players Club. It was my first time playing the course and I was shooting horrible. Stepped up to number 15, par 3, short 127 yard hole. Pulled out a wedge, ball hit ...

I would imagine if stats had a hard time getting the rosters loaded during the work week, the chances of them getting fixed on the weekend are about as slim as Nicole Richie

Yep, my leagues have reverted back as well. How much does STATS make for doing this? Maybe I could start up a stat service

No problem at all Greg. I was a little worried as I would have drafted a little differently if it was incorporating the first half stats. All is good.

Mid season scoring
I was under the assumption that today was the starting point of the mid-season leagues. The scoring is incorporating stats from the first half. Was I wrong in my assumption? I figured I was donating anyways but I certainly drafted with the thought that this was the starting point versus adding the f...

Mid season leagues setting rosters
Thanks Greg. Wasn't sure if there was an alternate plan, i.e., if they didn't get loaded you would do the first day of stats like an ultimate draft or anything like that. Thanks for the answer.

Mid season leagues setting rosters
Hey guys, For those leagues drafting tonight, how are we going to be able to set our lineups for Thursday? Just wondering as the league I drafted in Monday has yet to be loaded to set its roster and wanted to know what would be done in order to set up tonight's team in time for Thursdays games. Than...

I still haven't heard an argument against being able to move a DL player out when the player is placed on the DL. Heck, I have a job where on average I work 65 hours per week, have two young kids and a wife. Now I'm only in 5 satellites at $100 a pop but as sure as God made little green apples, I co...

No need for a twice a week lineup change (though it wouldn't bother me) but how about the ability to change a player when he goes on the DL versus having to wait until Friday? Say a player goes down on Tuesday, allow the change to occur on Wed for that player only. Maybe the software doesn't allow f...

Twice-a-week moves?
For what it's worth, I would have no problem with 2x / week transactions. However, for the life of me, I don't understand why we have to wait until Friday for the DL moves. A person should be able to make a move anytime someone on his roster is placed on the DL. This game should be about skill rathe...

WW,
If you're out of it in August and you're still not fielding a competetive team realizing that it takes once a week or at most twice a week, then that's pretty sad. Why not just write a check for your teams at the beginning of the season and skip drafting?

ESPN , Crash and Burn!
It would be one thing if this didn't happen very frequently on ESPN but this has been par for the course at ESPN. I won 5 leagues last year on ESPN and what do I have to show for it? 5 of the ugliest azz t-shirts that have yet to be delivered to me. The competition for the most part is nothing like ...

I also see both sides of the story as well. My take is....who cares? If it makes GG feel better to write this stuff up, then so be it. I would think most on here do their own homework anyways and he's not really giving out any info that isn't available somewhere else. I for one enjoy the witty (some...

I'll also give my kudos.....these guys worked hard on all the drafts and worked even harder to find some last-minute replacements so there was no auto-drafting. Geoff, your site is top-notch and Greg and Tom did a great job in filling a niche for those of us tired by the same old stuff at other site...

I'm your Huckleberry....Lance you sure know all the classic great lines from a movie. I still tell my wife that line all the time and she still looks at me like a dog that just got snipped and can't figure where his berries went. Why is it that women never memorize good lines from movies?

I think the problem with your argument is that it doesn't take into account the $100,000 grand prize. Sure, you're on even ground with the 15 in your league but what about the others that you're competing for the $100,000 grand prize with? I think you're never gonna make everyone happy, so go with t...
