Mark Reynolds played over 20 games at 3B last year in the minors, and many more than that in 2005 and 2004. 30 pitchers? How did that work out? Why'd they do it in the first place? Even if they won every pitching category, they'd lose all the hitting categories and finish middle of the pack.

I know, but why is it against the rules to do that? I might just be naive, but it seems like someone doing that is only hurting themselves.

Now time for a stupid question: If someone, say, doesn't draft a shortstop, why is that considered an illegal lineup, since he's the one who will suffer with a hole in his lineup?

Team A is a little better but neither blows me away.

I'd rather a 2nd catcher who contributes in the counting categories, even if his AVG isn't the greatest. Catchers only get 400-450 at bats anyway, so it's not going to hurt your AVG as much as an outfielder who gets 600+ at bats. Those 40 or 50 runs and RBI and 10 or 15 homers could be a difference ...

I picked 10th in a $250 satellite, and got Utley, then D. Lee, then M. Young, then Nathan. I was happy with those four.

When will they begin?

Pete, like I wrote on the other thread, I like your team - especially the pitching. I worry about KazMat and the outfield but those weaknesses won't be team killers.
