I like the Friday DL rule
It Jumped a Page, so I re-posted, just wanted to make sure there were no hard feelings. " Don't play the victim or put words in to my mouth- you commented on what would happen in a scenario that you have never participated in- you were wrong move on. " by C. R. CR ... when your right , your right, I...

My Bad Guys , I guess when I read post here about people bitching about teams that don't check their line-ups every week at the end of the season, that I was seeing just things. Guess I'll never see post like that again ... LOL..!

I like the Friday DL rule
In the main event, I trust that with the Weekly Prizes we just announced that most folks who have paid $1300 each will still be as competitive as ever. -------------------- Greg Ambrosius Greg, I hope for the leagues' sake that is true, and You know much better than I if that's so. But I have read s...

Buck and CR.... I didn't say I would throw in the towel, I'm saying if you looked at that scenario, you would find that most teams do. Realistically speaking, if there is no incentive, other than playing the " spoiler role ", most teams will not be as interested in checking their line-ups when it ha...

Including this year I have now participated in 7 non satellite NFBC leagues how many have you? Perhaps you should at least participate in the main event before you write about it, it may help your credibility a bit... just a suggestion. by C. R. That logic is a bit frightening- I will explain why you use the DL and still field an active lineup if you are out of it. It is called not letting someone get 5 grand or much less 100 grand that they did not deserve because you took your balls and went home because you are out of it. I have found mo...

" The rule is the same for every player in the NFBC " by, G. A. .... And that's the Bottom Line, I don't understand why people continue to believe that ANY RULE benefits any team over another ? If we all play by the same rules , there is no advantage one way or the other, period. Now, the only reaso...

In the " Old Days ", this would not have been a big deal, back then these guys played through injuries. Today, the way these guys break down all the time , this amendmendment makes a Huuuuuge difference, and I can't see how it dose not benefit the league by having it. Great adjustment guys.

Fantasy Baseball Philosophys....
dose this make any sense ? .... I reckon that if you look at most players seasons, they usually have a good 1st half or a good 2cnd half, but very few have both. Therefore , why wouldn't that reflect in fantasy team line-ups ? I think most fantasy teams will have a good 1st or 2cnd half, but not bot...

Greg, I think that was a very nice touch, allowing the DL to be subbed-out in order to salvage the weekend. Very Good adjustment to the League Law. Makes for a much better competition. IMHO

If you want to make daily line-up changes at $5 a move , I'm all in. But if not, Then I don't see why its worth it. You will have guys picking up pitchers every day, looking for the best match-ups, iF you have to spend $5 a move That would Juice the Pot, Big Time. If not , whats the point..? Line-up...
