Looked up opening day 1970. Such legends like Gary Peters (redsox),Wally Bunker (royals),Lewis Krausse (brewers),Jim Merritt (reds),Joe Sparma (Expos),and Pat Dobson (padres) were the starting pitchers. Those were the days.

If it is going to be changed what is the latest that can happen? What would happen if this was on the last day of the season and it affected the overall title? The bar is ordinary effort. The way things are handled now. The player, agent, coaches, and manager, and even the official scorer. Have the ability to ask for the play to be reviewed. If anyone questions the call the league will review.

KJ for the most part I agree. I don't think I have agreed with any MLB decisions since the great experiment the DH. But, I have had this discussion with top Mlb people in Manhattan.
