It looks like today's start could be do-or-die for 2013 (with the exception of a late September call-up).

I bid strong and won this week's FAAB on Gausman ($156). I have some trepidation because he does not have much of a minor league history (about 63 innings). Good chance he will be a stud at some point, but will that be this season? I certainly hope so.

While last week's hot pick up was Jose Fernandez and this week many people are turning to Cingrani, I turned my focus to De La Rosa. He was not available in my league.

During the draft at #14, I went back and forth in my head between selecting Evan Longoria or Justin Upton. I went with Upton and watched Longoria compile nice stats while Upton got off to a slow start.

Hopefully, Longoria will be back around Memorial Day rather than July 4th.
