Mirage was great! Fantastic event. Great job by all involved! So organized. Mikey / Cramutola party was exceptional. Really great to put more names with faces. Thank you Greg, Darik, Tom, Mike, Brady, Kim, and the rest! Shout out to Mike....that guy doesn't stop working.

Re: NFBC 20th Anniversary Live Events: THANK YOU!!!
Thanks to you Greg, Tom and Darik. Had an amazing time at the Mirage and it was amazing having so many people stay at the same hotel. I think most of us go to Vegas for live drafts to hang out with friends and it was the perfect setup for that. The ballroom was also perfect for the Saturday morning...

Re: NFBC To Add New Pending FAAB Tool For 2023
I guess I will be the first to reply on this. There is a lot to like here. The Pending Faab page has always been a great spot to go prior to deadline for a final look at your bids. More than once I have caught multiple same drops on a league, etc. Now showing the FAAB balance as well is great. Love ...

Re: Shits and Giggles
Ha. You might be right! And....I was laughing with you, not at you. Who can figure closers out? I know it won't be you taking a closer before a SP! It's a hard call. On one hand you have fewer guys that are the "true closers" so logically those should be worth exponentially more. On the other hand, ...

Re: NFBC Adds FAAB Copy List To Pending FAAB Page
I know it’s been vetoed in the past for time zone reasons and the like but maybe a few things have changed: - technology has been great. Faab runs in seconds and hardly ever an issue. - seems like nearly all owners are now setting lineups on Mondays (or Tuesdays) as opposed to many setting after faa...

Re: RIP Bill Strickler: Age 57
oh man. Sad news for sure. Thanks for sharing it. I remember Bill from the live St Louis event at Pujols 5 or whatever it was called. That was such a fun time and I remember talking to Bill. We didn't have a ton of room at that venue and Bill was a bigger guy....ha, he was having some fun with how t...

Re: Team Search
Good one Dan. Couple more: - figure out a way to show the double headers on the schedule / lineup grid (other than having to click on the '4DET' for example) - denote players that are currently in the minors similar to injury designations, day to day designations, etc. Also second Dan's comment abou...

Re: A Discussion On The Pause Time For Draft Champions Leagues
Yes, definitely need 8 hour pause, the only question is which times are best and is subject to discussion. 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM EST seems like a happy medium but whatever accommodates the majority and the 3 time zones best but I definitely feel 8 hour pause is necessary. Phew....thought you were goin...

Re: A Discussion On The Pause Time For Draft Champions Leagues
I would like to see the pause time expanded as well - at least for the 2 hr and 1 hr draft types. I think in general you get a "quicker" group that signs up for these two types and length of the drafts really aren't an issue. I don't think the extra hour or two on either end causes much extra total ...

Re: Common Players On 2021 Top 100 National Teams
I think Phil was the first Main Event winner to start with a P in round 1. Did you know.....that the top 5 finishers in the main event all started with P? In fact, 3 of the top 5 started two yellow! How times have changed. Phil - Pick 3 - deGrom / Machado Ruland - Pick 15 - Nola / Darvish Phil - Pic...

Re: This Is The Final Scoring Period Of 2021 NFBC Season
Prior to 2018 - I don't remember. In 2018 we could set a new lineup for game 163. In 2019 and 2020 the rules allowed the same. Furthermore in 2020 you took a survey and the survey overwhelmingly favored a new period if you were to count a game 163 (higher amount voted in favor of this than the first...

Re: Draft Boards Now Available Before Rolling Over Site To 2022
This is great! Thank you. Two questions: 1) Can you add owner as well to the board? We can see it in the results but not on the board. 2) Glenn - can you ask for no game 163 inclusion? John So to make these all visible, they are public boards that don't contain owners' names. Sorry. We had this sur...

Re: Innings Minimum
Thanks for looking at this. The trend is downward for sure on IP but 18 of 645 in Main Event is only 2.8 percent and a number of those teams look like the owners gave up on their teams. I agree with Mark on FAAB leagues - still not a problem to get to 1000. Furthermore, it looks like the highest fin...

Re: Trevor Bauer - can he be Cut?
I feel like this rule needs to be removed or clarified for next year. Blake Snell was removed from the player pool in 2019 after his injury in late July even though we knew he'd be out for awhile. Not sure what was different in Snell's case... It could be that all players with a Main ADP in the fir...
