Re: Take Notice: NFBC Improvements!
And didn’t I read they added online auctions hosted at their own site? That’s huge too. The contest lobby doesn’t allow for anonymous signups anymore. Some will like that a lot. contest lobby years ago, you had to go to the MB and hope greg and tom had time to manually add every damn signup to a MB ...

Re: NFBC Cutline Single Prices Change On March 1st
Sounds like 2019 Cutline will be full price starting day 1 except for the multi-entry discounts. Won’t there be fewer signups from December to the end of February without the early bird incentive? It would be interesting to see how many leagues started before March 1 last year (maybe broken down by ...

Re: Welcome To The 2019 NFBC Season - Our 16th Season!
Nice! Just to confirm/clarify: there’s no longer any need/benefit to commit in advance to a 5-pack or 9-pack in Cutline? Keep up the good work. Cutline Championship Grand Prize Grows to $70,000. We have seen how the best ball format has grown exponentially in football and we are going ALL IN on that...

Re: 2018 Cutline Regular Season Prize Winners
Congrats everyone listed above.
Looks like a few of you will have plenty in your account to pay for NFFC 2018.
Cutline has been a hoot this year and seems to be heating up greatly with the playoffs upon us.
Good luck!

Week Zero Live Draft
Has NFBC considered the potential for adding a day of live drafts the week before Week 1 in Vegas & New York? My Week 0 proposal would be a road trip that rotates every three years. In 2019 you’d draft live at a Grapefruit League site. Followed by a Cactus League draft site in 2020. Then in 2021 the...

Re: Edwards Bay Fox Pen NYC Tour 2018
Thank you mlb again for waiting until Tuesday to break important injury news (J Montgomery, Alex Reyes, etc) when it helps only Cutline FAABers. Woe to the manager who rostered Jurickson Profar when Adrian Beltre got hurt then benched JP when AB came off the DL. Profar has HR in three straight AB. I...

Ohtani bats left.
He’s exposing his pitching arm to fastballs every time he hits.
How long will the Angels allow him to keep being a hitter after his first HBP that sends him for an MRI on his pitching hand/wrist/elbow?
Disaster waiting to happen.

Scoring Discrepancies
I hate to give back points, but... MLB says Mike Montgomery gave up a total of 2 hits in his 3 IP in week 1. NFBC says only 1 hit. Was there an official scoring change that NFBC won’t process until overnight? Maybe it would be a good idea for NFBC to maintain an Official Scoring Changes page or a si...

Re: DL spots
The aim would be to help teams with multiple injuries at the same time What’s the justification for “helping teams”? You want a safety net for managers who draft injury prone players? It sounds like you want to take away the skill from the game and turn it into a lottery. Your logic is assbackwards...

What I’m saying is there is no game scheduled for PHI@NYM on NFBC. See the photo below for Alfaro and Reyes.
Conversely, my NYY players are scheduled and now locked.

Scheduled Games
Phillies at Mets tonight is postponed. Fine. Checked my Set Lineup, my catcher PHI Alfaro shows not scheduled 4/02. WTF? Is NFBC now changing the schedule? I thought just a few days ago we were told lineups lock based on the scheduled day/time, even if the game is postponed. Consistency is important.

Re: DL spots
Okay pro-DL guys,
Let’s say NFBC announces they’re adding 2 DL slots starting in 2019.
But they’re taking away 2 bench spots.
Happy now? Didn’t think so.
You just want your cake and eat it too.
Game too hard. Change the rules.

Re: DL spots
7 bench spots allows the owners to carry injured players. Its all about weighing cost and benefit in doing so. Injuries suck, its part of the game. Exactly. Good fantasy players don’t overload on prospects and players who are injured or have shown a history of getting hurt. The podcast pundits (the...

Re: DL spots
FWIW The guys on the ESPN podcast “Fantasy Focus” discussed DL slots this past Thursday and basically came to the conclusion it’s smarter to have no DL and instead have an extra bench spot. Too much hassle and grief especially since you can’t put a player into the DL slot until they’re officially on...
