Re: Danny Santana - in AAA?

Even with D.Santana in his lineup, he's 29th overall in the DC....that's pretty amazing to me...if I was top 50 i would be paying pretty close attention....

Re: Let's revisit Friday lineup changes for P

Greg I never used the word demise. My posts weren't meant as attacks but rather my opinions on why some players would walk away from the game. I was trying to be helpful. I was suggesting that by changing the pitching rule, you might have players that are less frustrated and therefore maybe less cus...

Re: Let's revisit Friday lineup changes for P

I'm going to make this really simple. Most fantasy baseball players get involved in this game because it is fun, not to make money. By giving you, the customer, more flexibility and in more control of your teams destiny rather then luck, most players would be more happy.....win lose or draw. Why do ...

Re: Let's revisit Friday lineup changes for P

Tigers placed RHP Alfredo Simon was placed on the bereavement list today. This move screws me over in one of my Main Events teams. I had a great matchup vs Oakland and now I get a zero for the week. This is not the first time I've been blindsided. It's situations like this why we need flexibility on...

Re: Let's revisit Friday lineup changes for P

This isn't really that tough........we have Friday lineup changes for pitchers. Once a pitcher throws one pitch that week he is locked in and you can't change him out. Players will stream pitchers....players will play matchups....but everyone will have a fair shake to do this. It's the simplest way ...

IMO
more flexibility = better game = greater number of happier players (isn't this the ultimate goal for greg/tom?)

Re: Let's revisit Friday lineup changes for P

This is my second year playing in the Main Event...both years I've drafted 2 teams. I really enjoy gambling.....poker and especially in year long baseball leagues. I don't mind losing....it happens...your not going to win every time you sit down at the poker table. And your not going to win every ba...

Re: Line-Up Maneuverability

This line-up maneuverability change makes a lot of sense....it will take out some of the frustration of injuries.....injuries can really sap the life out of any season long fantasy players. I'm also in favor of changing the player eligibility rule where I have to wait for a minor league player to pa...

Re: FAAB

I agree with Dan. Wide range of bids based on player and needs. It also depends on who you are replacing on your team. I just saw Andrew McCutchen leave tonights minor league game holding his side. He seemed to be in some discomfort. If McCutchen were to go on the DL with an injury, his replacement...

Draft Order Doesn't Matter?

In the Platinum FAAB for draft order, the 1st pick(Trout) went for over $600. The 2nd pick was in the hundreds of dollars.
The 15th pick was bought for $1.

Re: Any Questions For Greg & Tom Before Las Vegas?

Greg and Tom, Thanks for all your hard work putting this together. Would it be possible (if something like this isn't already in place) to have a small break after the 10th/20th or after the 15th round for those of us drafting online? I ask this on behalf of my bladder. Thanks again! I lobbied for ...

Re: Las Vegas March 28th Main Event Leagues & Draft Order

Not sure what the correct answer is since the player pool changes every year, but with Trout clearly pulling away from the rest of the league as the top choice; I think a 3RR would've been a nice option this year to try out somewhere, maybe in a Satellite as a test. 15/16/31/60/61 sounds a lot clos...

Re: Live Chat With Greg & Tom: Monday, 3 pm ET

I have a couple of KDS questions, because that aspect of the draft process really interests me. I've seen some of the statistics that you've shared with the MB about the percentage of winners from each draft position. If I remember correctly they are equal more or less. That being said. 1. Would you...

Sirius xm-roto-experts?

Last week, I brought my wife a new car. A free 6 month subscription to Sirius XM was included. So, I figured I would give it a try this morning. I'm listening to the "Roto Experts"---Nando and Tony. One of them mentions how he doesn't like Jose Altuve because he's going to be hitting right after the...
