Re: Anonymous????
I cringe whenever I see an "Anonymous" show up in a league I've signed up for. The greater sin, though, is NFBC listing a pseudonym instead of the player's real name, which has happened twice in the few leagues I've played. I don't understand why Greg and Tom go along with this, as it really gives t...

Re: Playoff Leaders
Yes. As long as you don't remove a player from your lineup at any time, the multiple points will remain even if you move a player to a different position. Good luck all. Greg, I'm not seeing the ability to move a player to a different position. The edit button allows me only to remove a player, not...

Re: Who Is Leading The NFBC After Week 19?
I bow to George Sumner's season-long DC dominance, but I just noticed that Nos. 2 and 3 in the overall DC are from the same league. Odds of that happening are something like 36,000-to-1, right?

Re: Draft Champions Overall Prize Pool
With the DC deadline in sight, It looks like there will be about a 10 percent bump above last year's record in the number of teams competing for the overall. Can we anticipate the prize pool going up, too?

Greg, I'm prepping for the Team draft, but the Draft Room link still takes me to the same landing page with the same choices -- Flash or HTML. Is that as it should be?

Best way to settle that question would be to auction off the slots.

Re: $250 TEAM Satellite Draft
I've likened KJ'S contract league as being chess to checkers. This format reminded me of pool or billiards. Each selection made in having the next shot in mind. To me, the first round is not the most important round as it is in most drafts. The third round in setting up last picks and even forced p...

Re: Let's Look At 2014 NFBC League Champion Rosters
Two of the Top 6 finishers in last year's Main Event played that contest for the first time, which gives hope to everyone in that 15-team format. But we also had some good veterans finishing well and one of them was Steve Fiore, who had the best shot at the $75,000 bonus in 2014. Steve was in the T...

I'll vote with my dollars in favor of this third DC model. Plus, you need at least one guppy in the mix.

Re: 2015 Hall of Fame Inductees
Bagwell was the stronger candidate than Biggio -- 1 MVP, 2 more yrs in top three, 3 more in top 10, Rookie of Year -- but he faces a couple of real problems: The switch from 15 years to 10 on the ballot really hurts him (those numbers will look better over time), and the East Coast voters don't resp...
