Re: Fielder done for 2014
He really has not been a first or second round talent since 2011. The first base position is one of the deepest positions in fantasy. A guy that gets 30/100 like Prince taken in the 1st or 2nd round can easily be replaced by a guy taken 3 or 4 rounds later getting 25/90. I think it's much more prude...

I don't think I've ever seen a week filled with so many injuries as this one and it's halfway over.

Re: Being Better....
It's a tough call with guys that usually get off to slow starts and at times we all outsmart ourselves in looking at the pitching match ups for the week for each hitter or if they are home or on the road. I try and tell myself that if I invested an early rd pick or if I am counting on a guy all seas...

Re: FAAB Over/Under
Are they going to start posting all FAAB pickups and drops like they did last year? That always showed the highest bids. Was always interested in looking at what players went for in other leagues.

Re: FAAB Over/Under
K-Rod went for $509 in a league. Shocked that Blackmon was going for so much in all leagues. His minor league stats are decent but they aren't better than Dickerson's plus once he cools down, he will lose time to both Stubbs and Dickerson. I'm calling it now that he is this year's Yuniesky Betancourt.

I feel even worse. They drafted MTMs team from my draft over the team I am co-managing. Might as well mail it in haha.Walla Walla wrote:What no love for the Walla Walla team? Weak hitting plus weak pitching. It took a lot of skill to balance this team out.

Braun
Is there anything more frustrating than hearing the news that Braun had basically 8-9 months off and didn't correct his thumb issue via surgery or rehab? Who knows what kind of production one will get from him when he has nerve issues that cause him to blister up bc he does not have any feeling. Who...

Re: Draft the Drafters II
Had to draft KC's deadmoney2 team. Really balanced and his bench is great. Should get a solid amount of production once the Cubs call up Baez. Kadubec drafted a good team that may have batting average issues but will not be light on homer and steals. There will definitely be a lot of teams in it by ...

A Cricket and Aussie Rules Football field is much larger than any fields pros in the US play on. The SCG will have the largest foul territory of any game we will watch.

Re: A List of Names
Someone was actually hurt by this? The only way to make this list is by being inconsiderate and lack communication to other owners. This isn't because people are slow. We all have lives and other things going on. It's those who are inconsiderate without letting the other league owners know they have...

I think the Choo pick in the 2nd was a huge reach as well. Guy cannot hit lefties which will only get worse with age.

Re: End of an Era - Jeter to Retire at end of 2014
Even as a Yankee fan, I always thought that we had such a great team throughout the years that Jeter was overrated. But his stats prove otherwise. Playing a distinctly defensive position, he routinely batting over .300 with decent power (256 homers in his career), solid speed (348 stolen bases) whil...

Re: 2014 DC
Dan thank you for putting this draft together. It was a welcome respite from the usual slow drafts that take sometimes 3-4 weeks to complete. It was great to see that although it was very competitive, the fact that guys stopped to rectify a mistake pick and Stan's health to say a few showed that the...

Re: What Have I Learned?
I think what I have learned in my two years in the NFBC is that there will always be market inefficiencies. People will continually be bullish on prospects. No reason to grab a prospect with too many questions than a guy you can set your watch to. First basemen will always go way too early. Never wi...
