Re: Win $15,000 In The 2020 NFBC Post-Season Contest
Are payout places going to be added? Thinking about signing up but with 500 owners maybe we talking 3% payouts

Re: Welcome To The Sprint Best Ball Private Leagues
It's one of my favorite options on the yahoo bestball leagues; pretty similiar setup as well one thing different is there is also a weekly payout ($5-10 lol not much but can pay for a daily lineup lol) for top scoring team in addition to overall 1-3 finishers

Re: OFFICIAL NFBC STATEMENT ABOUT START OF SEASON
So owners who paid for 100 games of Pineda are just wrong? Dude he is just....GONE lol 2020 over. Some $1,000 Draft Champions owner is just staring at a blank spot on his roster now (PS-I have never actually drafted Michael Pineda :D but not for lack of talent. I just remember watching that dang Yan...

Re: OFFICIAL NFBC STATEMENT ABOUT START OF SEASON
No one believes it won't have an impact. The argument is that we're all in the same boat, i.e., equal opportunity not equal outcome. Sorry but I've never agreed with that statement. There are a myriad of draft strategies that have won titles and have already been deployed for drafted teams, and it'...

Re: OFFICIAL NFBC STATEMENT ABOUT START OF SEASON
Sorry, but I don't see this as a really tough decision if the customers & not the amount of potential lost revenue & expenses incurred is the overriding factor in the decision-making. NOBODY signed up and put their money down to play a 60 game schedule at the time we drafted, period. Put everyone b...

Re: Open Chat With Greg, Tom & Darik
Reads last couple comments Lol........Mmmmmmkayyyyyyyy Anyways Guess this should be on an NFFC thread, but seeing how us baseball nerds are migratory birds to NFL in late summer/early fall. I'm seeing leagues being drafted and am wondering if any covid-19 disclaimers have been added, IE owners agree...

Re: Open Chat With Greg, Tom & Darik
And whoever mentioned the TJ comparison...That's a completely baseless argument; every fantasy baseball owner EVER ABSOLUTELY FACTORS INJURY RISK, and makes a decision accordingly. If you wanna play russian roulette with Masahiro Tanaka's elbow ligament that's been holding on to bone like CPT 'Meric...

Re: Open Chat With Greg, Tom & Darik
It's weird that so many veteran fantasy baseball players have a hard time grasping the concept that some draft strategies, through no fault of the owner at time of draft, are going to translate more or less effectively from a 162 to 60 game schedule change than others, giving advantages/disadvantage...

Re: Open Chat With Greg, Tom & Darik
I'm glad to hear that high stakes players want to play out a 50-60 game season. I agree. Does it really matter if it's 50, 70 or 100 games? Would you really draft differently for each of these scenarios? The bottom line is we can debate how a shorter season impacts player performance but nobody know...

Re: Open Chat With Greg, Tom & Darik
lol I keep waiting to post this thinking to see some "breaking news baseball is back" on my phone Whether it's the unions 70 games or mlb's 60, we are no longer close to the generally agreed upon 80 games for already drafted teams to still make SOME kind of sense (I was more for 120, man starting pi...

Re: Open Chat With Greg, Tom & Darik
Inspirational.....But did not alleviate my main concerns.. --Yes drafting is therapuetic in itself (6 leagues & counting) however just like there are owners who are ok with the status quo there will be others who are not. Warm fuzzies is a secondary objective on this site we are here to win $$ doing...

Re: Open Chat With Greg, Tom & Darik
Not sure if this has already been covered but what about drafts that have already taken place? Are we just going to keep those teams despite the drastic changes happening? Most of my teams are good but here and there I have guys that will have completely different outlooks whenever new OD is (IE wil...

Leagues already drafted
Of course new situation for everybody. What happens if this postponement lasts more than a couple weeks. We have thousands of dollars gambled on draft strategies that are no longer valid (IE injured players who dropped in adp past few months may be healthy by the time league starts) Any thoughts?

Dynasty Leagues?
I know NFBC does not really have a format, was just wondering if the old heads of the league can recommend a good one for me, any slow draft ones especially. 28yr old, 6 year NFBC player here. Graduated from satellites couple years ago (once I was not poor in college anymore lol), big player in draf...

Re: Slow pokes and Draft Champion Leagues
We just had a guy time out and tried to change pick, Buchar did a double-check and then let the guy know it’s not gonna happen, my NFBC saviors usually get things resolved pretty quick in my book #imjustsaying

Re: Slow pokes and Draft Champion Leagues
Simple solution is to introduce a 1-hour Draft for the guys that need it I’ll stay with the 4-hour, as long as we not drafting on opening day I’m good. Currently on my 10th DC Draft and have had a slowpoke in every one...Hell I’ve even timed out myself couple of times (signals suck when I’m out in t...
