Who would you keep?
Seems to me you can afford to cut the power, and need the pitching. Those are some unreal players to have for such a low price. Get ready to dominate (again probably)!

Keeper Help
GCA, would you lean towards Schmidt over any of the 5 I had pegged as keepers? As for Gekko, he is like the homeless guy on the subway, you listen to him, but if you make eye contact it is gonna cost you. Besides he is too busy scaring Alex out out of the competition to give a cogent response to thi...

Thanks Bobby, that is the direction I am leaning, yet with all the questions surrounding Ordonez I have started to waver.

NATION FANTASY BASEBALL DAY
Happy Fantasy Baseball Day all. I sure hope Hallmark makes a card, my wife was pissed when I told her I could not celebrate two holidays within 3 days of one another. Valentine's day is a thing of the past. Fantasy Baseball Day is the shizzle!

Each time I see the name sportsbettingman it reminds of a day not too long ago in which I was walking in a hallway in the Taj Mahal in AC, when I saw a 1-800-GAMBLER phone number. I walked over to the pay phone and dialed, the fella answered the phone and I told him that in the last day I had gamble...

Fantasy Sports Trade Association Dead?
If you think about it objectively the CDM game plan might just be the most profitable in the industry, and the one that MLBAM wants to emulate and improve with video of each of you players highlights and what not.

Wouldn't it be safe to say that Fantasy Sports Magazine owes its loyal readers a duty to report on stories exactly like the CDM MLBAM lawsuit, as the premiere fantasy sports publication. Realizing that as the leaders of the NFBC you are interested parties, unless you are parties to the suit there is...

USA Today column on licensing and CDM lawsuit
I got my check from CDM on 1/20/05 for last season's baseball. Perhaps the interest on all the prize money created a defense fund. To which I am happy to have donated.

I agree with both of you and that was the direction I was headed, until the resident loud mouth called with his latest projections for the league and had projected me as keeping Edmonds over Wagner. Of course I led him to believe that Smoltz was above all of them on my list, not true at all but we a...

In a no salary 5*5 keeper league, I can keep 8, my first 6 I think are no brainers, in: ARod Helton Blalock R. Johnson Wood Clemens I am deciding between Edmonds, B. Wagner, Benitez, Isringhausen and Smoltz for the final two spots. I have no problem keeping two closers, but would appreciate any advi...

Should On-Base Be A Category?
Most of us are old enough to remember back to the day when the only real stat reports we saw were in the Sunday newspaper, in which the players, by league, were listed in order of their AVG. They knew it then, and we know it now. The first stat in the triple crown is the purest of all baseball numbe...

Lets get some chatter going guys. I was on the phone at the five position, and am pretty pleased with my first 7, all I remember the order of, Beltran/Jeter/Gagne/Huff/Crawford/Webb/Millwood.

I was pick 5 in league 13, and my first 3 picks were Beltran, Jeter, Gagne. Can't believe Gagne was there at 35.

I have been recruited in to fill spot number 5 in league number 13. I look forward to some hearty competition and a good amount of smack.
