I tend to differ with other posters. Seems to me he had a very legitimate plan of paying upfront in the auction for pitching and SB/Average and not spending on HR/RBI. Many use similar plans such as going for ERA/WHIP and saves at the expense of W/K. As to the plan of reducing competitors' FAAB fund...
