Had a satellite draft last night with the new draft software. It worked just fine. Sounds like there are some changes for next year to make it even better. Will look forward to that.

I thought the draft was run well. Good guys ( and gals) to draft with. The motel was fine. The area had lots of eating drinking and entertainment options. I would be happy to go back there next year.

Right off the top of my head I would be a little worried about your Ave. and SB's on the batting side. Pitching....starters OK...saves could a problem...all in all not a bad team. A return to form from Castillo Byrnes and Carpenter will make you very competitive IMHO

I had it last year during the regular season. Had some of the same problems as Liquidhippo but not to the same degree. Blackouts weren't as big of a problem as the closest MLB is over 3 hours away from me :mad: but when games were televised nationally I was backed out then. I have a cable hook up to...

Like my team...hate my team.....like my team.... hate my team.....I'll be doing this until sometime after the All Star break. I thought it was a hard draft. Got swooped on both sides of me 6 or 7 times. Nice to meet the guys I did and good luck to all.

Man you can't get away with anything in these leagues. After last year those seem like a loooong time ago. Picking out of the 12 hole.....Fielder...Pujois...Santana ?....Not good.

A quick scan reveled that we have some good players in this league. Especially guys that did good last year. Although after my 273 rd finish almost anything looks good to me . Any first timers?

Ahhh.......the good old days. I'm currently 11th in my league and 274th overall.

Took a quick scan at our owners list. No rookies?. Couple of past champs I think. Should be a competitive league. Good luck to all.

Who is Carlos Beltran. Never seems to be able to put two great years together in a row. Batting average always suspect and SB's down the last two years. A very good player but will disappoint

Any San Diego Padre pitcher. They haven't had one since 1978 (Gaylord Perry) .........they're due.

Seems to me that everything ( age, youth, injury, team.....etc.) is relative in a fantasy draft. I believe there's danger in closing your mind to any type of player. It's all relative to what you need and where you can get it. The draft always dictates to you to some degree. I think a guy needs all ...

To win a NFBC league. What percentage would you estimate is skill ( preparation, effective drafting, FA, and roster management) and what percentage is luck? I'm saying 65% skill and 35% luck. Just to win a league in the main event. Not the overall championship or the other leagues.

Is anyone even looking into the problem with SP live scoring????????

Agreed. STATS is about the only thing that isn't first class about this league.
