Very interesting Dan and very true. What I'm going to comment on is my personal opinion on the "brothers" that should NOT be of the same value. Yes they are always drafted close but they should not. This Thursday can be the 1st NFBC Auction of the year. We have 5 signed up and need 10 more. This is your chance to own TWO of the elite players on your team. As with all NFBC pools, good money for the winner and terrific money for the overall.

I think it is clear that there are only about 10 closers that have a high chance to keep the job, so it makes sense that owners are grabbing them earlier. And I think it is silly to insinuate that Greg & co. have made a mistake. There is no perfect way to do it. And if it is a "poor" ranking system ...

And the players want to play hard ball. They insist they are not getting paid enough. Get a damn deal done, both sides.
