Re: $$ FAAB ALERT - Middle Infielders $$

Agree Gek, picked up Tyler Greene last week, just for insurance...He doesn't play much, but when he does, he can be productive. I'll take that for a fill-in while someone's on the DL.

Re: Cardinals - 20 Games after Pujols

The Cardinal organization has been doing this for years. Added Berkman last year, win a WS. Let Pujols go, sign Beltran for two years. They believe the organization is bigger than one player. They have to be the smartest, or one of the smartest, small-market organizations in all professional sports.

Hell, if that's all it is, just "pop" it back in and "LETS PLAY 2". 8-)

I'm not afraid to say Ellsbury was one of my primary targets in the NYC1300. I just hope he's no out too long. It definitely did not look good when he came off the field today.

Obtaining wins

Capturing Wins can be so frustrating. Stat line for my pitching through last night. 55.2 IP 3.234 ERA 1.222 WHIP 52 K's 1 W 1 S This is 8.5 starts (I give Kershaw 1/2 start for his first game). I'm tickled with the stats. At this rate, maybe I'll have 26 wins and 26 saves at the end of the year.

There's only a double handful of play-by-play announcers, from any sport, in the same class as Scully.

Re: Wanna be Auction Championship team vs. The Real McCoy

LOL! So that's the excuse?? I guess that was an insult to the NY competition? :-) Not only is the Auction competition pretty fierce on the East Coast, we did have the overall Auction Champ from 2010 and 2011 drafting in NY. Also, if a draft has a weak link or two (which does happen) it does potenti...

Gotta love this, my wife and I sat between these two during the draft. it's a good thing my wife was there, for out of respect for her, they could have come to blows.

Re: Time For Shawn And I To Win LABR

AL ($100-$115), a little shy to get to 75/75, but a nice start. Miggy - lots of $$$ will be spent on AL 1b. just secure one of the top 5. Kinsler - 20+/20+, if stays healthy Ellsbury - a "judy" with pop NL ($100-$115), this could be 80/80. Votto - must get in NL only. Tulo - Shawn's man-crush, so a ...

Re: So Where Will Ryan Braun Go Now In NFBC Drafts?

Although I don't necessarily agree with the order in the previous post, I would be very happy sitting at the #4 slot in a draft. Any of these players could be the #1 Fantasy player for 2012, so I might as well get the quickest pick on the return. I still have Miggy and Albert as 1-2, and the only re...

Greg, just a heads up for those drafting in St. Louis. I was in St. Louis over the last couple days and stayed in the Westport Plaza area. The restaurant is no longer called "Pujols 5". It's now named the "St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame Bar & Grill ". It's still has the same interior as it had, just ...

Undoubtedly one of the best voices of all time. Her anthem rendition at the SB will always be revered as one of the best ever. At that time, our country needed an injection, Whitney delivered and once again made us proud to be an American.

Congrats Dave on a great year. I met Dave at this years NFFC live event in Chicago. We hung out a while after Friday's events, along with Rob Benetti. Dave is a super guy and a pleasure to talk to. Glad to see him cash a big one this year.
