I would love to see the utility slot be used for either a hitter or a pitcher. Would make more sense if a person wants to target pitching stats for the week, etc ....

Eddie - if the reds can fire the worst manager in baseball, then maybe Gomes can get the AB's... I agree 100% get this guy 450 AB's than 30 bombs will happen in 2010 for him. He can rake!

Jonny had < 300 ABS last year and hit 20 bombs. I think .270 might be a stretch, but i defintely think he wil get the 400+ ABS this year. He is by far the best option in leftfield for the reds. He gets the 400+ abs, he will hit the ~ 30 bombs. Quick hands, crushes lefties and overall great guy. Love...

I think Gomes is really going to be a nice player this year .. finally coming into his own.
