Greg,
What is the basis of this decision? Seems a bit unfair.

Greg, The system wasn't locked the last 30...it was slow (each screen change took about 30-45 seconds. Each player added, assuming he is on the initial page (no sorts), takes about 4 screen changes.)

NFBC Online Championship Proposal
I haven't read each post thoroughly, but my only thoughts are the following: I think you do need to differentiate this new format relative to the Main event as much as possible without creating some crazy product (ie 11x11). This should reduce the amount of cannibalism from the Main Event. In using ...

Week 14 Drops
I am in a league where a couple of teams have 4 closers, and although I doubt they'd drop one because of one's heavily weighted RP strategy, I think it would be a shame if one of their closers were removed from the pool...especially considering I've been scraping for a second closer for some time. A...

Strategies That Are Leading Your League
I use to agree that no closers takes you out of the overall, but heading into this year's draft I determined it can be done. Don't get me wrong: a lot of things need to fall your way. A lot!!!!! I drafted no closers, but have obatined 18 saves to date. I suspect I will get approx 50 points from save...

I punted Closers in the draft, but not necessarily for the season (ie 18 saves). I sit in 1st place in my league and 8th or 9th overall.

Interesting, yet perhaps too complex and time consuming (for owners). However, I do agree with your reasoning regarding the competitiveness of each league. Last year I was in (what I believe to be before the draft and after the season) one of the most competitive leagues: many former league winners....

Week 10 FAAB Bids

What 5 Players would worry you most...
I was fortunate enough to grab these 5:
Clemens (16)
Upton (18)
Victorino (19)
K.Johnson (20)
Ol.Perez (21)
If only I knew SB's wouldn't be a problem for my team: Willy Taveras becomes a waste at #5.

no 40 man!
I certainly don't agree, and I have never won a dime in the 2 years I have already played. It's a nice idea when you know for a fact that >90% of those in the league/competition are what many would call "professionals". What determines who is a "professional" isn't as important as what makes up the ...
