Strasburg

Costas could not possibly be more over the top about Strasburg. He was saying early on how if Strasburg lived up to his potential that he would not just be a Hall of Famer but an historic player. Maybe the kid earns it. Maybe he's Doc Gooden, Roger Clemens and Nolan Ryan all rolled into one. Or mayb...

Rolling Dumb FAAB Pickups Thread

Two weeks in a row we lost out on good young rookies by $10 or so. This week we lost John Baker to the DL and went $145 on Max Ramirez. Other options were ugly and holy crap fugly! Next closest bid was $10. Sigh... In my league, Ely went for $156 - next closest bid was $56 [ May 16, 2010, 10:51 PM: ...

NFBC Weekly Profile - Glenn Lowy

What the article fails to mention is Glenn's OTHER team in the Classic (AC 1 - League 1) that is currently in last place in the league. I'm just poking a little fun at him. We drafted next to Glenn in the first weekend. He is a super nice guy and I wish him nothing but good enough luck to come in 2n...

actually watching games

I am lifelong Yankee fan and love watching baseball. If there is a game on, I'll have it on in the background while I read, surf the net, whatever. If it's a Yankee that's game on, I'm normally on a Yankee message board debating something or another.

Have to agree here. If I want to find out what team has a player I need to go to the roster grid? That's kinda silly.

It's been a brutal couple of weeks pitching wise. Edwin Jackson, Norris and most notably Johan Santana and so many others have gotten just hammered!
