Re: RIP Bill Strickler: Age 57

Hate to hear that. I personally didn't know Bill but I always saw his name at the top of the Cutline leagues. I tried to avoid him in my leagues. I would probably rank him in the top 5 all time Cutline players if not Number 1. We lost a great competitor. Condolences to his family.

$100 Main Event Side Challenge Main Event

I stumbled around the site and found this side challenge that has been set up. It looks to be a 90 percent payout and all you have to do is submit your main event that you already drafted into the contest and pay $100 and you are in. I set it up for 50 teams to get in and paying the top 3. It looks ...

Bid on Draft Spots in Diamond Draft with faab money?

I'm a big fan of the bidding on draft spots with free agent money in the Platinum draft. I think everybody loves it. It seems to take out some of the randomness and luck factor out of where you will be drafting. Why not do this for the Diamond draft as well. Is there anybody in the Diamond draft tha...

Re: Looking For Feedback On 2021 Cutline Championship

I do a lot of early drafts in cutlines. I know that my teams in December will not score as many points as my teams in March as a general rule because of all of the injuries and lineup changes that will happen over time. I am okay with that as I am competing with people with the same knowledge at the...

Congrats KC! One of the most feared players out there. Phenomenally consistent in all events every year. I was in too many leagues with him last year. Justly deserved enshrinement.

Re: Is There Interest In A Single-Entry NFBC Contest?

I like it KJ. It seems like a no brainer. We don't have to draft again. We just create a separate contest from the entries that have already happened. No more time involved than what we are already spending and we get to play in another contest with higher percentage of payouts. Everybody gets one s...

Re: Matt Modica Wins NFBC Ultimate Auction & $40,000

Heck of a year, Matt. Congrats on the title. It seems like you were out of money with a month to go and then you lost Yelich. I may have to rethink the strategy of having a few bucks at the end. It was a great battle in the league to the end. Congrats on all your other wins as well.

Re: Would There Be Interest In NFBC Leagues With 3RR?

Yes. Sign me up. Yes anyone can win from any position. I have argued with people in Vegas about 3RR for years to no avail. My perspective is that 99% of the people take the 1st spot over the 15th spot in KDS every year because there is much more value (sorry Dan) at that spot. The first spot is abou...

Jockey Club Great Location and Affordable to Stay

I just thought I would post on the board a little information about a great place to stay in Vegas. The Jockey Club is right next to the Bellagio. Its and older place that refused to sell out to the big boys. If you are looking for great views, this is not the place. Just check out there website joc...
