Re: NFBC NY Kickoff: Thursday Night Mar 12 Dinner in NYC(Mustang Harry's 630 PM)-postponed for now

Disappointed, I was looking forward to meeting many of the NFBC players that I only have met online. :(

Re: PreMature E-Draftulation League

Thanks for sharing these results. Fascinating. Yuli in middle of 2? You have Luhnow in this draft? John - Remember all the grief our friend Bryan Vogel got last year for taking Acuna 3rd overall in the Premature, from the so called experts. Yes we do have Luhnow in our league (not that I am suppose...

All-American City team

Seems like a Doughboys' daily stuff topic :?: Every time Al Albuquerque comes into a game, I'm tempted to put together my all American city name team. So here goes... Re: Draft Champions 8-Hour Drafts To End March 7th

Okay, we just sold out another NFBC $150 Draft Champions League. Today is the last day to fill these and get them started 22 days before Opening Day. We'll give it time for one more $150 Draft Champions League at 8 hours per pick and then we'll likely shut these down for the season. We will still h...

After 71 drafts Trout 57 first 14 second Miggy 14 first, 55 second and 2 third Goldy 2 seconds, 57 thirds and 12 fourths Seems like three of the first are set in stone. Tanaka just went 96 spots ahead of ADP 22 spots ahead of his previous earliest pick) and his ADP would have moved from 122.01 to 12...

Re: ....ADP.....

My picks in the early drafts helped build the ADPs and now the sheep are following. I was in 33% of the drafts after six drafts, 30% after ten drafts, 33% after twelve drafts, 20% after thirty. As the number of drafts has picked up the ADP from the early drafters has become gospel. One team doing so...

Another name to add....Corey Burth. Stay far away from Mr. Burth... Dan - I have to say he has turned it around since the long weekend off abuse to the rest of the league. I can understand a young man having a long weekend of something more exciting then our game. I might even remember a time like ...

Re: 10 SPOTS LEFT For NFBC $150 Draft Champions 12

This league looks to have one dead money team. The team playing under Gary Cutler is being drafted by a friend of mine, who has NEVER  played fantasy baseball. Last night at a Holiday Party, (I think he got tried of hearing about my teams and that I was drafting two teams right now), he said h...

Re: Looking For Help on Player Default List

I would prefer no default rankings, but understand the need for it to help speed up the draft and help the teams that don't know 750 MLB ready players. I think you should NOT use the drafts already run (the Doughboy private leagues) and instead have a formula that you share with the league. Somethin...

1) Moss, Yelich and Kuroda 2) all were outside the top 10, Romo the farthest out. 3) Pujols, Hosmer, AGone. But I would take Hosmer ahead of Pujols and Adrian 4) might be cheating here as I took Revere in the 14th in the premature, I will go with the 14th here and hope for the 10th so I can claim I ...

I am from the Detroit area and went to a few games five years ago when Cabrera first played third for the Tigers. I was dreading his move to third, and vocally proclaimed my expectations of him playing himself into half time DH role before the season even started. I remember him falling down on a ro...

Multiple Slow Drafts

I am just finishing up my sixth draft of this offseason. :ugeek: I am wondering if you other owners of multiple teams are building your teams like I do. I believe in certain players and have taken the same players, that I took in the 4-8th rounds, for the third time each here in my sixth draft. I tr...

Re: Owner Michael Black

I tried to get my home league, which is an auction, to play as a group in one of these last year or the year before and running a "multi-owner" team is difficult. Not something I would try again, but as I have done this, I do understand his position. When I tried it, we had five(or more) co-owners a...

Re: Slow Draft Monitoring Tool - a new idea

It would be nice to have this type data show up when a team is signed up for a slow draft. Some teams are awfully slow in their picks and it causes issues with other owners. In round 42 of my current slow draft one of the teams just posted " <team name> take 8 hours ... we are so fed up with your in...

Re: Life Etiquette 101 For SLOW DRAFT

Marcel - I understand the frustration of being in a draft with a full clock user. I also understand that it is within the rules, and the ability to gain eight hours worth of news may be of benefit. However, I don't want to play in a league where a team regularly takes eight hours to draft. I appreci...
