Thoughts in prize distributions

BEF, I am not disagreeing with you but a matrix is no big deal. If someone is on the fence about signing up and they want to know the payout structure or percentages then a matrix only helps. Its pretty easy to say at 360 entries the payout structure is X. 388 the payout structure is Y and 416 the p...

PLEASE EXPLAIN

I had Newhan, Matos and Marrero.

Newhan broke his leg, I went in on Wednesday not knowing if I would remember this Friday thing and put in Matos for the weekend...Now Matos goes on the DL but he never has the DL next to his name...

Marrero has a homer on Friday night. Piece of **** .

Lineup Reminder

Hi Tom, question regarding this. When is the cutoff for the "set lineup" for week 0? My quetions involves the waiver wire. I have a small bid on someone and may be dropping Ben Broussard, will the waiver stuff clear before the game starts? Also, if I have Ben Broussard in my starting lineup and the ...

Good post Rey, Todd Walker isn't all thats available on the waiver wire though, easy to make your strategy work with that example. Last year we picked up Felipe Lopez, Johnny Peralta and Geoff Jenkins off waivers and just missed Aron Boones second half too...A surprise closer gets one category usual...

Average Categories

How many industry experts (and smart people on general) are going to say that the average categories like WHIP, ERA and batting average are harder to make up as the season goes along? Its completely untrue. The fallacy comes from the fact those categories barely change during your last few weeks bec...

tied bids

Don't know if this is the case but you can tie yourself...I have put in multiple bids for the same player, dropping different guys of course. When I have won that player it shows the seond place bid that was mine too...so I won the guy for $17 second place was $17 but actually nbody bid on teh guy b...

Thanks Greg but I prepaid my room through Yahoo Hotels, so getting another room wouldn't save me any money.

Poker Tournament For NFBC Members In Las Vegas

I did say that its a private event and thats why its so high, if $35 guarantees a private event that is well run then its worth it. A normal $200 tournament with a $35 entry fee would be robbery. Wish I knew about those hotel rooms earlier before I made reservations at the luxurious Wild Wild West b...

Poker Tournament For NFBC Members In Las Vegas

Hi everyone, registered in early January and I am looking forward to meeting everyone. Poker is an area of expertise of mine and I wanted to post to Greg and others a little info. On average the vig of $35 on a $200 tournament is ridiculously high. ($15 is typical) I have never played in a private e...
