New York League 7
I have the 1st 24 rounds of our draft on Excel ... I'd be happy to forward it to anybody that's interested. If so, just post your e-mail address and I'll shoot it over.

New York League 7
Hey Marty ... we took Dice K in the 5th - maybe a round or 2 early, but in retrospect it looked like he went in the 5th or 6th in most NY drafts. Now whether he warrants that high of a pick is another story, but we have high expectations for him. I thought Cain in the 5th was high as well, but he ha...

Snow in NYC
Most NYC leagues had 14 or 15 owners present I believe ... a few leagues including mine (NY 7) had one owner drafting via phone. There was no adverse impact at all - in fact, I didn't realize someone was drafting via phone until after a few rounds. Overall, the weather was much better on Saturday mo...

Interesting Starting %s
Spy - last year Grady Sizemore was OWNED in 95% of the leagues the entire season ... I'm not sure who was in that league, but that's inexplicable.

Average Draft Positions
Fightin - I am in NY league 1 and nothing of the sort happened ... Vlad and Tex were early 1st rounders and Cabrera was the 3rd pick of the 2nd. They are on 3 separate teams.

View All League Drafts And ADPs Now
"If you think having a high score is great, you are mistaken. It means you drafted conservatively. You drafted players based on last year stats and this years draft position. When A player slips a couple of rounds, you saw it as an opportunity. When others might see it as downside in a player. The ...

Closer Runs
Hey Kevin and Rich - I was picking 10 in NY1 ... the closer run was incredible - I took Fuentes much earlier than I expected (and could regret it) ... Kevin - I took D Wright at 10 right before you (I was surprised he was there in a NY league). I like your Young/Rollins SS tandem. Rich - I agree wit...

Dave Roberts was taken at least 6 rounds earlier in our NY draft ... nice pick in the 15th!

Closer Runs
The closer run in NY 1 was frantic ... if I remember correctly at least 30 closers were gone by the end of round 10. I believe Wickman and Dempster were drafted in the 7th round.

Had a bad draft!
Snord - I'd give it a 4 out of 10 ... saves and WHIP will be near the top, ERA solid, but K's could be a problem (even with Johan)
Offensively, it's a bad scene! Batting average could be ok, but HR, RBI, SB will be bottom 5. At best Runs could be upper half.

Would You Be In Favor Of Ranking Your Draft Spots?
I think it's a great idea. It combines the luck of the draw with a degree of personal preference.

Weekly Kick to the Jimmy
I guess my $109 bid on T Clark was a bit aggressive, eh? it hurts when u see no other bid!! .... still have over $500 FAAB tho ... Bad combination: desparately needing power and frustration over losing several FA's by a small margin .... stings!
