Re: 2023 New Position Eligibility Players

I believe that MITCH GARVER is now eligible at C. Is it possible to make that adjustment before today's deadline so that he can be moved to that position for the M-Th games this week?

Re: Question About ADP List

I understand all of that. What I'm asking is the inverse; instead of choosing a single type and excluding everything else, I want to choose everything EXCEPT Gladiator, because it's adversely impacting the rest of the numbers. Similar to 'All minus Gladiator'.

Question About ADP List

Might it be possible to alter the criteria when choosing the league format to generate different ADP lists in order to exclude the Gladiator leagues? For example, I'd like to see the results of all 15 team formats EXCEPT for Gladiator, which is really having an impact on overall rankings, especially...

Has the Tuesday night $10/50 Fanball contest been stopped? Haven't seen anything since May 11th. Did I miss an announcement?

Re: NFBC Main Event Format For 60-Game Season

OK, I'll play the contrarian: I think that everything should just be pro-rated, like the player salaries, at roughly 37%. So an entry fee of $625 leads to a grand prize of $55,000. If that lower fee generates a higher number entries you can upwardly adjust the payoffs as soon as the season begins.

Re: 2020 MLB Season Opener: Thursday, March 26th

So the Japan games will be played around St. Patty's Day? Or are they not being played in 2020? Good Lord, they'll have to start spring training the day after the Super Bowl. Even so, they could still pull off a really early Opening Day from a weather standpoint. There are 14 teams that play either ...

Not quite sure about Merrifield going before both Rendon and Schoop. IMHO both of them in the 5th round are early bargains.

17. Anthony Rizzo

BA is down but he's picked it up lately, and 20 dingers/56 RBI/52 Runs at the Break isn't bad at all. I would be betting that he turns back into the 2016 version. And if you play in a league using OBA, he jumps up to mid-late first round IMHO.

Re: Looking For Feedback On NFBC Cutline Rules

Greg, when you say the goal is to "grow" the contest, is your main interest in increasing the number of owners, or the number of teams held by each owner? If the former, then keep FAAB. An owner who has, for example, three or fewer teams should be absolutely able to handle the FAAB requirements twic...

Looks like the traditional 'Free Agent' functionality is finally working. The 'Free Agent NEW' worked starting this morning. Not a great job by NFBC/Stats updating us as to why it wasn't working or when it would be fixed. But everything appears to be good now.

Two more guys, who have eerily similar numbers: Brad Miller at #259, qualifying for three positions while banging out .247/28/72/66/6. And an even bigger bargain with Jake Lamb, with ADP of #341, currently at .258/28/88/77/6. Sure would like to see a few more swipes and a higher BA, but it's league ...

Bef, Lots of people are divisive so no need to post youtube videos. Mcconnell is a clown. If you can't see the Obama admin has been a staggeringly divisive we will agree to disagree. Race relations now are worse than at any point I can recall in my lifetime, much of that has been fueled by him. Cop...

Re: What's The Early Feedback On The NFBC Cutline?

I do think that expanding the draft to 38 rounds is a strong option. That could help reduce the first FAAB. That being said, I do think a first FAAB is necessary with a slight expansion of the roster and the ability to cut previous draft picks. A player like Carter Capps was likely drafted in a lot...

This is a combination baseball and money play. From a baseball side, they got two very good prospects, especially Newcomb, who will be in their rotation in either 2016 or 17. They are also obviously huge believers in their minor league SS prospects. From the money side, it's pretty clear: 2016: if t...
