Greg - I think the point I was trying to make wasn't made well. I completely agree that rules shouldn't and can't be changed. What I was trying to say was if I go into the FAAB pool and see a player available, I shouldn't then have to go back and do a check on the Waiver History to make sure he was ...

It should not be on the team owners to NOT bid on a player. If a player is there, in the FAAB pool, he should be open for bidding. It's Fanball's responsibility to remove any player that should not be in the pool prior to the bids being placed. Confusion where confusion shouldn't be.

Which do you enjoy watching more?

Having one of your pitchers go out and completely dominate the game and pitch a shutout? -or- Having on of your hitters go out and get multiple hits (and maybe a homer or two)? I generally enjoy watching one of my pitchers go out and dominate the other team - a nice low hit, high strikeout, maybe gi...

As a fellow owner, you just have to keep the faith. Nothing else you can do. Great thing about baseball is stats tend to find their average over the course of the season. As long as he's not hurt, which he doesn't seem to be, he'll start hitting...I mean he has to, right? Maybe? Hopefully

NFBC Site Update Thread

Greg - In the stats section within our team homepage are the Fantasy YTD stats correct? I ask because they seem off. Example - David Wright has 4 homers going into tonight's game yet the Team Stats (Fantasy YTD) shows him at 3 (and I have played him every game/week). Same thing for Brett Gardner - o...

Yeah, it had been suggested a bunch of times. I am sure it's on the "to do" list somewhere.

Six months is what an ACL is worth these days. Meniscus tears are usually bad, but I think Gekko is closer to the time frame that it usually is.

Verlander getting smoked!

Verlander just got torched for 5-runs in the first inning against a Sizemore less Indians offense. Threw 40 pitches.

As a Verlander owner this was a tough week to watch him pitch.

How important is it?

Patience. No one has been given a check for $100K after Week 1. It's a 6-month season. Week 1 is meaningless except for the emotions of seeing a slow start.

How about a a few kudos for Greg and Geoff

Greg, Tom, Geoff etc...are all stand-up guys who care about this event and all the events they run. They are the face of the product and have to take all the bullets when they fly, but they never shy away from them or throw someone else in front of them. Big respect for that. Things have definitely ...

The Main Functions that do not work or are not complete

I would add:

1) We cannot see what players were dropped by their respective teams during the FAAB process.

2) Transaction history does not work

3) Within the FAAB player pull down menu we need CI and MI listed. Right now it's based on specific position or hitters/pitchers.

Same here. At this time it seems as if there are a lot of things we used to have that we don't at the moment. I'd also like to be able to see my FAAB dollars somewhere and what my other league mates have left to spend as well.

The FAAB only gave me pickup from my 1st list.

Same here. They should have suspended the FAAB process for this week until all the bugs were worked out. Maybe there is a way for them to still run the unprocessed bids.

I only had one FA bid go through as well. I placed two separate bids looking to drop two different players and the system only dropped one. it was like the second never existed.

Anyone else not have access to entire FAAB Player Pool?

Was having the issue with my FAAB bids being reversed on me. I deleted and decided to start from scratch, but now there are players missing from the FAAB pool. As an example - selecting Pitchers, I can only see up to players whose last name ends with an "S" and no one after that and cannot see how t...

I was actually mistaken. My Online Double Play team FAAB bids were fine. My NFBC Classic were reversed. Just deleted them and going to try again.

Problem With FAAB System

Same thing happened to me yesterday. I deleted all bids and started from scratch. Checked this AM and they look fine. If the problem is sporadic that is probably more of a pain to fix. Also - still don't see FAAB dollars (remaining) anywhere. For my team or anyone elses. Not sure if that is making i...

The Plan For Claiming Insurance On A Player

Wasn't trying to be a pain. There are only new threads being created every day about issues, time frames, fixes being put in place, "let us know if something seems wrong" requests, and this and that. If you're not on the Board a lot it's easy to miss something.

Thanks for the response.

The Plan For Claiming Insurance On A Player

Greg - I paid by check but there isn't a "roadblock" on my team home page as of this AM to select a player to insure.

What do I need to do?
