My Draft from Pick #10 (15 Team Roto)

Update on my team. As of today I'm in 1st place. It's still very early tho. My combined stats are as follows: Batting Runs = 204 Rbi's = 213 BA = 0.2684 HR's = 52 Sb's = 24 :( I need help! I'm 4th from the bottom in this. Total Batting Pts = 44.5 Pitching ERA = 3.3068 Wins = 29 Saves = 21 Whip = 1.2...

Baseball At Its Best

This is why I hate it when people act like they know everything after they already know the results. All the nay sayers will come out of the wood work when things fall apart. If Wilson shuts the door nobody says anything except all of the Lincecum owners in leagues that award for complete games. Bri...

Baseball Players?

I have to nominate Jorge Cantu as the fugliest guy in Baseball currently playing...But he's having one heck of a start for the Marlins.

But here maybe the cream of the crop.

Does anyone remember the Street Fighter Character Dhalsim? This maybe Otis's twin brother.

Anyone else watching the Mets/Cardinals?

Of course now K-Rod blows my save. And he still doesn't have one this year!   He better get the vulture win.

Anyone else watching the Mets/Cardinals?

And Kyle Loshe in Left Field..

Oh and thanks to Jason Bay and his big 0-7..

But the real thanks goes to Ubaldo Jimenez :D :D That'll help out the ERA and WHIP

My Draft from Pick #10 (15 Team Roto)

Hey it looks like I may have gotten lucky already with that Feliz pick now that he is the temporary closer in Texas. :D Man i need some saves already. K-Rod = 0  Madsen = 1 should be 2 but Victorino just had to go and hit a 2 run HR last night in the top of the 9th to take it out of a save situ...

My Draft from Pick #10 (15 Team Roto)

Yes there were some bargains, but this was no draft where the #3 guy ends up with both Pujols & Lincecum!

My Draft from Pick #10 (15 Team Roto)

Yup I can agree with your assessment Rockit. I did state that De La Rosa could've and should have been the pick at that spot. It's not that I don't like Konerko this year for the power, it's just that because of where I picked him it caused me to miss out on my 2nd closer. After less than a week in ...

My Draft from Pick #10 (15 Team Roto)

Thanks Eddie J. Yeah I Really bought the hype on Feliz. When we drafted he was still inline to be a starter. Oh well you win some you lose some. I was surprised as you where that Jimenez was there in the 8th rd and Coughlin in the 13th. I think in every draft each team gets those few picks tha...

Main Event St. Louis/

Like you after I read some of the other owners post and really enjoyed their reasoning and strategies used I had to do my own write up. Your team looks solid. The only thing that I see that you're lacking is a big 3 man SP. I do like Hanson & Cain but I would've wanted a stronger SP1 to go with them...

My Draft from Pick #10 (15 Team Roto)

After reading a few other owners post about their drafts and reasoning, I thought I'd copy them a little bit. Knowing how much that I enjoyed reading their post I hope that you enjoy this one as well. The first thing that stuck out to me before the draft ever started was that of the selection of you...

FA bidding questions

I'm in a top 3 satellite league and have notice a wide range of FA bids all the way from $400 for a player to $1. The Owner that won with the $400+ bid the second place owner had bid $190+. The ones that I won respectively went for $5 and $3. My questions are does the winning owner have to pay the f...

First draft from the 15th spot

I have to agree with the majority here. Ellsbury is a nice pick for a 2nd rounder, but I think more of a bottom 1/3 of the 2nd round. Being able to get a Pierre, Borbon, Davis etc in much later rounds seems like a better choice. I was thrilled when J Upton fell to me in the 2.6. I had #10 overall. T...
