Re: Lineup flexibility

I've been asking for this for two years. One would think the technology can be easily implemented, but given the missed deadlines on the draft room, faab, and the fact they can't even get the live standings right even though stats are their primary business, I'm not so sure. Who knows what loopholes...

Re: The New FAAB System Is Now Live

The new system is a big improvement. I did have issues getting my list of bids to load with additional conditional bids closer to the deadline. I had to continually refresh to see my conditional bids. I assume this was traffic related as I didn't have the same problem yesterday or earlier today.

It's happened before. You can't ask people to spend the kind of money they do to play here and then penalize them for what is clearly a mistake.

Re: FAAB- What happened?

Greg posted that it was done but they were testing it week 1 and if everything was OK it would be up next week. Oh, you mean like they were doing with the new draft room? That makes perfect sense. Not what I was told at all via email when signing up for events. Should be completed and ready for sea...

FAAB- What happened?

What happened to the new FAAB we were promised? Am I missing something here? I sent an email specifically stating I would not sign up for more than a few events if this wasn't changed for this yr. I was assured it would be. After the final Primetime of the season today, I opened up my FAAB for a qui...

Re: Sloppy Seconds

Just curious, Chris. Were you in the league where one team drafted 9 straight pitchers from the start of the draft? Nope, I heard that league was a live event but I was drafting online. I can't use that as an excuse. That league was a combo online and live draft. That's why I thought you may...

STATS really needs a Smilie for "dripping with sarcasm" so those few readers who didn't pick up on your tone would also "get it." Is this the same person that was talking garbage yesterday during the draft? Good luck. Any team can improve vastly w/ faab. Your roster will largely turnover any...

Re: Sloppy Seconds

Great pitching staff. A little light at catcher position. Good thing you grabbed both sides of mlw 2b platoon to start first 10 games at 2b/mi while bogaerts gains SS eligibility. Outside of darvish, your sp are ratio and K machines. Chen should have no problem retaining his rotation spot once the s...

Greg, feel free to mic me up for the draft. Why not have them come back here and list the pros and cons while it's fresh on their minds? Ten years of drafts are fresh in my mind, Ty. Here are the top 3 pros for each format. PROS - Online over Live 1. Your odds are somewhat better at avoiding a league completely stacked with really good, prov...

Re: Main Event Breaks

I also have a question for you. Do the people that are in a joined live/online draft get breaks? These people have access to the "sweet live draft board" and I believe the live participants are in a cushy suite, which I can only assume is complete w/ a restroom and I know has beer. The live drafters...

Re: Main Event Breaks

Krys, Greg answered why we don't have breaks for the Online Main Events and why we are unlikely to provide them in the future. I have nothing to add to that nor has our position changed. I will say speaking only for myself that going from two breaks to one in the live events is something that may b...

Re: Start to slow draft

The good old "Sweeney Plan." I know this has been used a fair bit by some in the past for the DC drafts. I experimented with it last year and cashed in two of the three leagues I used it in (end of brag). At first glance it looks crazy, however it's pretty effective if you're willing to accept that ...

Re: Main Event Breaks

Greg I have to admit that I am disappointed with your reply. I would like to think we follow the official rules and not deviate. A savy drafter who has two 15 minute breaks has an unfair advantage over the rest of the field. Period. I shouldn't have pay extra expenses and fly to a live event for th...

Still the same problem Glenn it takes too long to edit the list to make it usable. Maybe if you could get rid of the 800 guys that nobody drafts even in the 50 rounders would help but it not gonna happen so me thinking About doing another online or sat draft is probably not gonna happen either, alw...

Greg - I do more drafts than most of your customers. I think they should be listed alphabetically and that's it or if u have to, based on last years stats.
