Getting Paid
Greg or Tom,
How do we get confirmation that our winnings have been sent? I still haven't received mine (hoping the mail is slow?)
Thanks

THe irony with the Baldelli pick in our league was that it came from a phone in from Las Vegas. Does this suggest that we had the easiest Orlando league because we had phone-ins from the weaker cities?

Clearly, as goes Rasner ... so goes the talent pool in Orlando 3?
Are you kidding me?
Perhaps Orlando 3 is last because we are all stripping stats from eachothers squads?

Mr. Gekko,
Has your opinion of Zambrano changed since draft day or is he still way overvalued in your eyes?

Ted Lilly, Chris Young, Pedro Martinex (Bos to NYM), Roger Clemens (NYY to Hou). I am sure that there are others that support my theory that Haren's conversion to the NL will dramatically improve his stats, perhaps even a bit better than Webb!

Webb vs. Haren
I know that I am in the minority but ....... I was wondering if anyone else felt that Dan Haren would have a better statistical season than Webb? I strongly believe this will happen. So strongly in fact that I had Haren rated higher than Webb based on the stat anticipation and the number of innings ...

Chest is actually a very nice person. The only reason not to like him would be because of his honesty. Not a very good reason to dislike someone in my opinion.
Anyhow, Chest .... Keep on Rockin, you rule!!

I predict that a healthy Kuroda fails to K more than 125 this year.

Gekko,
New Season, New Stats.
Zambrano's full season 07 stats are irrelevant as we are discussing his likely dominance of 08.

If Z's arm was hurting behind closed doors, the Cubs would NEVER have signed him to that crazy contract after the Prior/Wood contract history. The decline in performance has been more mental than physical. He is an amazing athelete and I am convinced that his numbers will improve across the board th...

Zambrano will win 18 games with an ERA of 3.85, WHIP of 1.25 and 180Ks.

I disagree on your Zambrano read. We all know that he is a head case and the contract negotations last year could not have helped. He might actually be "relaxed" this year. He has been incredibly focused this spring and has been dominant (not that we can read too much in to spring stats). Time will ...

Rob, I really like your team and insurance policies (McClouth/Morgan). You might have steals issues and your closers might hurt your ERA/WHIP a bit while piling up saves. All and All, you drafted a very, very good team! Unfortunately for me as I will be competing with you (and others) for the divisi...

Chest, Interesting breakdown. I would be interested in seeing your full squad broken down by position. Ultimately, how was the competition in Vegas compared to Tampa/Orlando? I love Webb but as you know, I love Haren even more this year. I hope that they both rock the house, it will be interesting t...

Gekko, I like your main event team but I can't say that I love it. It is incredibly conservative and you will be spending your FAAB on a closer who hopefully does not kill your WHIP and ERA when you finally get one. In order to win the $100,000, at least in my opinion, you need to take some more cha...
