Another one? Whatta ya doin Steve making a bracelet or something? Congrats buddy on another fine job! Also, I'd like to welcome Clark and Lindy to the 3 ring circus. It's a terrific club and I know you'll both enjoy it. That I've been trying to get out of it for two years now, well that's another st...

Re: Compete Against Scott Keikoan This Week At Fanduel.com

Thanks Greg, it was nice to get lucky a few times. However, I believe this is Fanduel's big $250 K weekend in Vegas and a couple of our NFBC friends will be swinging for the fences on Saturday. Good Luck Bob Particelli and Scott Fleming, I hope you boys finish 1-2, you can work out the order...........

Re: Kevin Youkilis is a P***y

For my annual Kevin Youkilis thread, I'm going to try to be a bit more compassionate and understanding this year. After all, I heard he injured himself this time trying to achieve an extremely difficult pirouette. Coulda happened to anyone. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-G6YOv63Cye4/TapCodOvwRI/A...

Re: Greg Ambrosius Receives NFBC Hall of Fame Recognition

I had a few more things to say ... but with Lindy forgetting to call me up initally, I got thrown off my game. :) I wanted to mention during the presentation the guys that contributed time/expense in putting this together to get an authentic NFBC plaque (without Greg knowing anything about it). I f...

Re: Madson out for Year

Just happened to peek at Rotoworld during the 14th round of today's ME. I'd already drafted 2 closers (Bell-Hanrahan), but it was too hard to pass on that skill set. Somehow I'll make it work............................. 8-)

Re: Driving Denver to Vegas (2nd weekend)

I already have my plane ticket, Bob, but I'll be watching the weather for any oncoming blizzards that could change my travel plans. Save me a spot in the backseat just in case. Dallas I'll leave a light on for you Dallas. Blizzards? My FJ Cruiser isn't afraid of no stinkin' blizzards! I, on the oth...

Re: Driving Denver to Vegas (2nd weekend)

The car's running great Steve, at least it was when I sold it to Lindy. Seems he's planning on finally getting Gabe that 'special' car he truly deserves. It's supposed to be a surprise so keep it under hat. I'm all in on the Gustafson girls Ken, have them call me. Two babes, three drivers, and devil...

Driving Denver to Vegas (2nd weekend)

If you haven't made plane reservations yet or have been straddling the fence, I've decided to drive to Vegas this year. I'm planning on leaving Boulder Colorado sometime between Weds. afternoon (3/28) and Thurs. Morning (3/29), returning by Monday evening (4/2). If you're up for sharing driving, gas...

Re: 6 Spots Left For Feb. 29 Online Championship League

Norm, I think the price point is $350. Need Tom or Greg to verify. As for advantage of late vs. early draft. Last year I drafted Beachy in rd. 28 in the first weekend ME. Between my first and second weekend ME it was announced that he had won the 5th starter competition in Atl. He went in the 18th r...

Re: Feb. 19th $150 Fast/Slow Draft League Draft Order

Agree Mark, it went off pretty well despite the snafu which occurred on my turn (and no I don't want to discuss it  ) A cautionary note though for those who intend to participate in a fast/slow draft for the first time, don't try and use a hard copy road map (personal boards) to keep track ...

Lot's of different directions for team 10 to go here, but let's go Heath Bell now to avoid the stampede later.

Team 8 has a decent enough categorical balance through 5 rounds, but it's positional construction (no corners or outfielders) could become problematic if not addressed soon. Let's start with Victorino

Re: Kinda, Sorta Mock Draft

Team 12 needs to start addressing the infield and Youk's a good pick for him at this point in the draft.
