Auction League: Rule Change in 2012?

Originally posted by Glenneration X: No reason to fix what isn't broken. Greg, are there plans to revisit the $1300 NYC Auction this year? NFBC Champion Profile - Lindy Hinkelman

Lindy, Amazing accomplishment; you are truly an all time great and it has been my pleasure knowing you. Missed you this year since I drafted in NYC but looking forward to meeting up next March. Again, congratulations!!! Now I can continue to watch the Rangers getting their ass kicked in Game #3 :-(

What Spot Did The Top 20 Teams and League Champs Draft From?

I know #11 was not our top choice but ran with it. When Cargo fell to be at #11 I was ecstatic. Coming back we took Ryan Zimmerman, wanting a solid, young and talented 3B. (didn't turn out well). Took Cliff Lee in the 3rd and Marmol in 6th. We took Pence and Victorino in between. At the table we wer...

Feedback Wanted On 12-Team NFBC Main Event

I like the idea of a 12-team Main Event. We had Double Play live for $550 and I don't recall how many owners drafted LIVE at a venue. I never liked the idea of mixing it with the $350 Online Championship. I don't think it would hurt the 15 team format; that said, I would make it $1000 entry fee and ...

Dealing With Anonymous Owners In 2012

One final comment from me in regards to the Anonymous thread; Until I saw this thread I never knew anyone was playing under "anonymous" I personally don't care. As Dan Semsel stated, I prepare my team and draft as I see fit, not based on what others are doing. I have enough trouble arguing with McCa...

Proposed 2012 NFBC Rules Changes

I believe players who draft using an alias for fear of having their picks copied/stolen, should use a huge pin to deflate their inflated egos. If you're going to draft just use your damn real name. Lets get REAL here.

I don't play NFBBC, but don't they have their own Message Board.

I have a feeling you posting the standings is because you want everyone to see your name on the leader board. Just an FYI Craig, I am an expert in psychology :D :D :D
