New Found Respect for MLB Players w/ Injuries
I remember Rickey loved sliding but admitted he didn't dive for balls in the outfield because he needed to save himself.

Cueto is rolling through 4 innings. 1 hit, 3 walks, 3 K's. 5th inning, gets 2 outs. Then comes up the almighty Roy Oswalt. He must have intimidated Cueto enough for him to totally miss the plate. Cueto goes full count on Roy (not Hobbs). Walks him? What's he thinking? Put the damn ball right down th...

I made the post based on a number of instances but have apologized to "Doughie" on the side. Rough night, overreacted to his comment. Time to move on.

12-Team League = Ridiculous Totals
Why not have both, 12 team and 15 team online championships? Something is gonna have to give if there's 800-1000 teams in the near future, at some point the overall prizes loses it's allure. The 12 team leagues will appease to a certain crowd, especially those switching over from other sites/rotisse...

giving up 4 earned runs and 7 hits allowed, uh oh. You want to see some improvement this year. Then he allows one baserunner over the next 2 1/3 innings. 6 innings - 8 hits allowed - 4 earned runs - 1 walk - 9 K's. I'm feeling much better. Nice game, 9 K's to 1 walk. Only allowed one homer (for him ...

Last year he didn't hit his 2nd homer until June 29th. 2 homers in first 2 games, and 3 walks in his 3rd game (most ever in short career). I'm no longer worried about him. I think everybody who drafts him is hoping for .300-25-100 out of the SS/MI slot. It's early for sure, you don't want to overrat...

3 innings - 8 hits allowed - 7 earned runs. He's not a bad major league pitcher but for fantasy, that's another story. For his career he's shown he's a high e.r.a., high whip, low K pitcher who now pitches in one of the best hitter's parks in baseball. Hmmm, recipe for disaster? I think his post sea...

My draft in 15 team "shark" league.........
Drafting out the 14th spot on March 28th: Mauer, Joe C - 9th round - tough call, injury risk. I wasn’t planning on drafting him, but 9th round before the turn, tough. (looks like now he only misses 1 month) Posada, Jorge C - 12th round - I love this catcher tandem while most teams have 1 or 2 scrubs...
