So let's see here...I get to sit between the 3rd ranked (Rick Thomas) and 6th ranked (Lindy Hinkelman) overall Main Event participants according to KJ's blog rankings. At least they're two of the nicest guys in the NFBC.

Just wait 'til Thursday night when the draft order process takes place for the $20k Platinum League. Somebody is going to have to draft from the back-end of the draft. Will be interesting to see how those owners who receive bad draft spots (in their opinion) react.

So...what happened with the "side pot" action? I guess this is a no go? Seems like a pretty easy revenue stream, but sounds like it's lost steam. (might want to change the title so that those that weren't around back then aren't confused about the Main) Would have been great in my opinion...too bad...

And as I recall, Greg was adamant about changing them at all for last year's second Diamond, so there is no reason that it should be fair to me and others who signed up for this event as it was listed that he should start changing them now after the fact. I'm in for both weekends regardless of the Easter holiday...hopefully that doesn't make me a bad person.

If it helps to have a main event on the second weekend, the Saturday of Easter weekend, maybe you move the start time up an hour to help those who want/need to fly home that Saturday.
