Dice K owners

I'm sitting him b/c maybe he's not fully healthy or just trying to time his rhythm. Anyhow, it's not worth it right now. Let's see him walk less than 4 batters first. He's been getting away with walking too many hitters, but the law of averages might be catching up to him.

Stats from Saturday/Sunday weren't updated in my Satellite League. I emailed Greg about this. Anyone else notice this?

The only pitcher worse than Ian Snell...

Ugh, I had no choice but to drop that fool. He can kill an entire pitching staff by himself, no matter who else you're rostering.

mlb.com games on internet???

Liquid,

The mlb.com website said the mosaic feature will be available starting Monday. So we'll see how that goes. Hopefully if enough people complained the previous couple of years, they'll make this work.

mlb.com games on internet???

I purchased the premium package this year which offers superior quality video and the "mosaic" feature where you can watch up to 6 games at a time. It was $120 for the whole year. In my mind, the best route would probably pay month-to-month since it's the same price per month ($20). You don't get a ...

Mid First Round Pick

I also have the 7th pick in a draft and am torn btw Holliday, Cabrera, Utley, and Rollins. I'd prob. go in that order right now, but my decision changes with the wind.

OF isn't as deep this year as most people traditionally like to think.

I forgot to mention that I love the Cueto pick. He's tearing it up this Spring and has a good chance of being this year's Lincecum/Gallardo.

The Reds are more high on him than Bailey.

I'd get rid of Lind and Shealy b/c Lind will probably get sent down (Stairs, Reed Johnson, and Stewart are blocking his path) and Shealy is even behind Ross Gload in the depth chart.

Who will be the Mets LF?

I'd say Bonds if both parties are desperate enough. He can follow his God Father's footsteps and wither away with the Mets.

Calling all the gurus!!!

I guess you'll have to stash LaRoche for the next 2+ months b/c of his freak finger injury yesterday. Ugh, now Nomar is going to start.

Who would you take at 2?

The Bearded One, Mr. Ron Shandler, has D.Wright and M.Cabrera 1-2 in his list. Hanley is too risky for him he says.

He disclosed his "real" top 15 at the First Pitch Forum Tour.

what do you care more about?

I'll have to agree with Cindy and Lance as well. I was in a Fox Sports draft yesterday, with the same settings as a NFBC league, and my first 4 picks were M. Cabrera, Rollins, Braun, and Tex. One guy picked Byrnes with his first round pick. It was a joke and I left the draft automated the rest of th...

Can someone explain this.

I think Ron Shandler mentioned this before on a podcast in Jan or Feb asking during the last 5-6 years, how many players drafted #1 overall ended up rated in that spot. If I can recall correctly, only like 1 did (Barry Bonds?). Karabell said that starting pitchers typically finish in the top spot, l...

Not bad from the 15th spot..

Yes, an assortment of injury risks (high risk, high reward). But if all falls into place, you should do really well. I personally love getting the wheel pick at the end. Pujols, if he plays all year, will be the steal of the year at #15. I'm a bit worried about Delgado. He's too fragile for me nowad...

Feedback on my draft

I can't really speak much about which categories you'll be sufficient/deficient in, but it looks as though your team is well balanced. Grabbing 2 aces (3 if you consider Pedro one) and guys with upside that you can plug in like Sonnanstine, Pelfrey (who is really pitching well this Spring), and Lest...
