I play a lot of the slow drafts. Really enjoy them but would enjoy more if they were quicker. A 2 hour clock would be great!

We (Jimpats) do not believe in overpaying so we can actually nap for the 1st ten rounds or so, We're pretty happy with our team but it's a long season. It was fun, well-run and the site worked well.

I aim for 20 pitchers and four at every other position. I believe I got that from Gecko a couple years ago and it has worked well for me.

I greatly prefer OBP but play in both. I think OBP is a better reflection of a players' value to his team. I find it amusing that that the BA guys are calling the OBP folks stat geeks. We're all stat geeks. Some just prefer different stats.

I did it twice last year in $150 DCs. Won one and finished 7th in the other. I've done it twice this year. I think it's more effective in the earlier drafts when there is even more uncertainty about who is closing for whom.

Oh no! More than 50 rounds is a terrible idea. I play DCs and enjoy them but most of us are ready to quit after 50. I've never run out of players and it shouldn't happen if you draft correctly.

What is an "amateur satellite."? Don't all leagues play for money?

I have Lucas Duda. The Mets play today, then have only one more game through Thursday. Does this mean that, if he goes 0-for-4 today and I replace him tomorrow, his 0-for-4 will not count on my stats?

I've gotta read these posts more carefully. I thought the advice was to "drink more drafts" and it hasn't really helped my baseball forecasting but I've met a lot of nice folks.

Speaking of improvements, it would be a big one if the mods would require the language in this forum to be cleaned up a bit.

I didn't realize so many folks had issues with HQ. I've been a subscriber for six years,have always gotten my Forecaster when promised and really enjoy the site and the advice I get from those who run it both past and present.

May not work for you but the NFBC winners list contains a lot of guys who experience indicates otherwise.
