I agree with your assessment. The pitching does look stronger than the hitting. It is always hard to judge these teams because it is such a war of attrition. Everything that these guys have said in this thread is 100% true. This is hands-down, my favorite draft of every season. The first year that KJ ran these leagues, I won Manager of the Year honors while also finishing in second place in one of these leagues. From then on, I was hooked as a low-market...

So am I correct to see, that despite the majority of responders on this thread displaying interest in the first weekend as opposed to the second, the decision has been made, and the only option on the signup page is that second Saturday? If so, that's very disappointing.

To be fair, while the trade is a public relations nightmare and an awful atrocity to the fans of the Marlins, from both a management perspective and from the baseball operations side of things, the trade makes sense for both parties. The Marlins will be much better able to compete in 4-5 years now, ...

I'd still be in, even with Brad's selection for doing two different seasons. Time certainly running out though to get it together.

I would also prefer the first weekend, whether that be in Chicago or St. Louis.
