Re: Let's revisit Friday lineup changes for P

I understand your point but it raises another element of luck. I only have one pitcher on the bench and he starts at 10 on wednesday. My pitcher in the lineup who is also pitching on Wednesday is scratched at 7 with an injury and I can't make the switch. Someone else also has the scratched pitcher. ...

Re: Let's revisit Friday lineup changes for P

Things that would be different if this rule were implemented- 1. Pitchers would not be 'set' on Monday. We would still set the lineup as we would any other week, but pitchers maintain flexibility until throwing a pitch. 2. We would have up until the first game of each day through the week to change...

Re: Let's revisit Friday lineup changes for P

If we were to do anything with pitchers, my hope is that it wouldn't involve the official MLB DL list. Hopefully we could figure out a process that allows owners to make the move without that stupid list from MLB. Why can't we just allow owners to change out any pitcher on Friday who hasn't already...

Re: Let's revisit Friday lineup changes for P

I have felt burdened by this rule in the past and of course I have Cosart in three leagues. Plain and simple, the only way I see around the rule would be if the commissioner determined which pitcher could be replaced on Friday. Then that pitcher would be designated in some way as being able to be re...

I don't have him anywhere but I think the steal of the draft was Andrew Miller.

Re: Minor fixes

Thanks for the percentage ownership groupings. I had wondered why the percentage ownership in my main event and supers for certain players was lower than I expected. The inclusion of the twelve team online championship with these other leagues explains it.

Re: Minor fixes

Still confused. In my main event, it says Will Middlebrooks in owned in 64.8% of leagues. So Will Middlebrooks is owned in 64.8% of what leagues? Thanks.

Re: Minor fixes

Per cent owned has always been an enigma to me. I agree that we were advised that per cent owned is based on the type of league. So main event leagues should reflect main event leagues and some others ? As an example, in one of my main events, it says Will Middlebrooks is owned in 64.8% of leagues. ...

Re: "New" Player Search through Free Agents

I also think this will be a great feature. The comments above will help greatly if those features are added. I have two other changes that I think would be helpful. 1. When the list of teams pops up, it lists your draft championship leagues where there is no FAAB. For me, this is unnecessary clutter...

I've got to give a shout out to Corey Dickerson. Batted over 300 with 20 plus home runs. Was sent to the minors in April. Where does he go next year?

One thing to Accomplish--Lineup Flexibility

This has been talked about many times before. But I still find it frustrating especially at this time of year. I have Jordy Mercer as my shortstop. He was scratched today Tuesday before his game started and BEFORE he locked in for the week. So I thought I might want to get him out of the lineup. Rea...

Re: New FAAB Has % Owned, Pinned Free Agents

It may not matter to most. But if you research articles about contrasting your eyes on dark and light, it causes eye fatigue. It's all over the internet but a good article called "Color and Vision Matters" is one example. I'm not good at posting but you can find it and similar articles if you are in...

Shifting between the grey and the white is very bad for your eyes. Trust me. It should be all grey or all white.

Playing Cron over Papi was poor judgment. All the facts you stated were accurate except the Angels were playing in Philadelphia where there was no DH.

Fantasy baseball isn't about luck. It's about managing around injuries. I replaced Jose Fernandez with Cesar Ramos.

Jeff Locke

I am just seeking a rules clarification. I want to know where Jeff Locke fits in the free agent rules. He was picked up by a number of teams yesterday where I believe he wasn't drafted on draft day. As best I can tell, he started the year on the disabled list. He then I think was taken off the disab...

Re: And the hits just keep on coming....

My mother is 88. She loves the Yankees. Even more than Jeopardy. When they took out Pineda the other night, she asked "What's wrong with his neck"? I told her he's fine, it's just pine tar. She said "he doesn't look fine." I told her yesterday that Pineda went on the DL. She said, "I told you so."

Re: Harper out til AllStar Break

Certain things are a given. Injuries will happen. They hurt your chances of winning. If you have a lot of them your chances of winning diminish accordingly. If you are really good at FAAB, you can improve your chances. The more injuries, the harder you have to work at FAAB. I try not to draft player...

Now with this extra information, the FAAB page doesn't fit on my computer screen. I'm scrolling left and right too many times for this to be a good experience. The same thing happened with the set lineup page. One man's information is another man's clutter. Please keep this in mind. Thanks.

Re: MLB's worst stat can be a Win for a non-deserving pitche

I have Santana on a number of teams. It was painful. How Avilan was left in to pitch to Marlon Byrd who kills left handed pitchers with the bases loaded was unforgivable. The only thing I could think of was since Kimbrel wasn't available maybe the manager was short handed in the bullpen.
