Up For A Thursday Chat?

Here's the place to unload if you've got some things on your mind on this fine Thursday as we get closer to an extended weekend -- everybody here gets an extended weekend, don't they? Speaking of time off, Raul Mondesi's had plenty of it, but it looks like he might get back in the game soon. Tony La...

The way I look at it is if he gets 25 saves, he's worth the $6 I paid to keep him and he's only 5 saves from that which means I'll be getting bonus production from him for a good portion of the season. That makes him a very good investment as does you getting him in the 14th round. Great value pick ...

Sooner, I had Graves as a $6 keeper in my NL-only league. I loved him going into this season, but I sure didn't expect 20 saves before the end of June. He's been outstanding. They never should've attempted to turn him into a starter last season; he simply doesn't have the stuff for that role. But he...

Good story about Sheffield. He's certainly gone on to many big things since forcing his way out of Milwaukee, but Brewers' fans will never forget his comments about how he would intentionally commit errors because he hated playing for the team back then. What a guy. And it is a shame about Sexson. H...

If folks are interested, here's the place to let loose on Tuesday with anything and everything on your mind about this season or anything else your heart desires. My question to start things off is: What's happened to many of the big-time sluggers this season? Richie Sexson done for the year. Ryan K...

Hey Legend, this is from our Rules section: "All players must have played 20 games in 2003 or 20 games in 2004 to qualify at a certain position. Minor-leaguers who did not play 20 games at any position in 2003 but who still played at least one game in the majors last year, will qualify at the positi...

But if anybody's interested in chatting, venting, pumping their chests, here's a thread for you to do so. I'll get things started with a couple of observations: Sammy Sosa ...

Nomo reminds me of what often happens to NFL running backs when they reach 30 years of age. They hit that wall and they don't nudge it, they slam right into it and become worthless almost overnight.
