Wally Joyner admitted once that he tried steroids. If he tried them I would think that the use of steroids was pretty wide spread. I would not be surprised if the number of users was in the 75% range. People in almost any career cheat to get ahead, especially when there is money involved.

I do think that .300+ hitters are becoming rare these days but Cano's new floor is just too low for my tastes. He is trending in the wrong direction to be a 2nd round pick for me.

Cano is another guy that I just don't understand why he is being drafted around pick 22 overall. I understand that he is consistently on the field, but his stat line isn't that much better than Chase Utley's. I would not be surprised if Dustin Pedroia out produces Cano this year. There may be a power surge coming. Marte looks more like Carlos Gomez ultra-lite. 50 RBI out of your second round pick doesn't sound good to me. I personally don't think his .373 BABIP can get any higher

I am not really sure why he is being drafted so early in drafts. if you take his career highs in all of his categories you would have a .291 13 bombs 83 runs scored 56 RBI and 41 SB. I believe I would rather wait and pick a leonys Martin or Brett Gardner. I can understand someone taking Jacoby Ellsb...
