And I never understood this. Perhaps I'm too science oriented, but if you have 14 batters contributing to half your total score and 9 pitchers contributing to the other half (I know, I know...7 of the 9 probably won't contribute to saves...but I bet the most of the hitters don't contribute to SBs) ...
