Re: MLB Season Postponed?

I think that it is obvious that there will be some sort of delay to the start of the MLB season, but there WILL be a season. It sucks that it may be abbreviated, but this may come with the territory no matter what in other extenuating circumstances that could come up. We all know that going in whet...

Re: MLB Season Postponed?

Maybe because I have 5 stents in my heart. Perhaps it's having cancer. Could be at 72, I don't know how many fantasy baseball seasons I have left. I believe in free will. For ballplayers as well as fans. I agree wholeheartedly with Ultrarunner. MLB is NOT the nba or mls, where each sport spent a lo...

Re: MLB Season Postponed?

**At least two NBA teams have advised players, coaches and team personnel who might have been exposed to an opponent who later tested positive for coronavirus to self-isolate themselves as they await test results. This is just the beginning. Not that far fetched to believe sooner or later MLB teams...

Re: MLB Season Postponed?

Here's how I see it: -The money I paid already was still going to be locked up until October anyways. -The season probably won't start on time but if it does and we didn't draft then it totally sucks. -If the season is delayed by 2 months, how many players does it really affect? 5-10 players at most...

Re: Corona virus - NO BULLSHIT Thread

I cancelled my travel plans to NYC this morning. I'm 99.99% sure what I have is just a bad cold but I had fever last night and even if I feel better by Friday, I don't want to deal with airports like this. Also whatever it is, I'll still be contagious on Friday and I don't think anyone wants to risk...

NEW YORK, Friday 2:30 pm ET $2500 Auction SPOT AVAILABLE

If anyone wants my spot in the NEW YORK,Friday, March 13, 2:30 pm ET $2500 Auction Championship, it's available. I may still make it for the week-end but I picked up something from my kids which complicates flying and don't know if I want to go through the trouble if I feel like this on Friday Anywa...

Re: 4 Spots Left: New York Main Event March 14 Noon ET

I may not always agree with MTM  however, I 1000% agree on this one. I suggested this be changed a few weeks ago as it doesn't make much sense to allow this to happen. Honestly I prefer to draft with 15 live drafters and the "tougher" competition than have 4 empty seats at the table Guys, ...

Ok, You know I draft fast, Real fast. I'm in if this starts sat or after. Friday night I'm drafting. I don't want to start before friday night unless I get 4 hours without getting texted to death. :D I'm averaging 3 minutes per pick in my current draft so I'm fast as well but week-ends are tougher ...

Re: 163rd Game Play-In Final Survey Results

I'd always been against the other variants of the pitcher swap because it gave an advantage to those who could check back on Wednesday and Thursday to make changes. I do like this version better but the one part I don't like is that if you put in a reliever and he doesn't pitch by Friday then it's ...

Re: Rules for 2020

So the NFBC can arbitrarily come up with new contests which buck the MLB regular season schedule (i.e. A mid-season contest that doesn't count the entire month of September) which is perfectly fine, but God forbid you eliminate games beyond 162 that don't allow for everyone to have equal, competiti...

2019 Leagues

Last year for the whole season we had access to https://nfbc2018.shgn.com/ which had all the data of the 2018 season. It was incredibly useful for all FAAB Data. Any chance you can get this back up for 2018 and 2019? Looking to do some research and there's nothing available.

Re: Open Chat With Greg, Tom & Darik

For the Sunday Main in New York, will the 1st league that was filled stay as is or will you mix both leagues? I was hoping the first league would stay separate since it's mostly the same people as last year and it was a blast. We understand, but if we get 30 teams live there it's only fair to mix t...

Re: Why Are You Here?

I started playing fantasy football in 1995 (I was 7 years old), a little home league with my brother and my dad. Did that for about 10 years then I started my own fantasy football website which I ran for 3 years and have been playing fantasy football leagues online for the past 12 years or so. In 20...

When the season ended we had access to everything for both 2018 and 2019, now it's all gone. i don't even think I can find the Main Event ADP for 2019, the ADP for all 2019 leagues is pretty useless.

Re: FAAB-U-LESS

More to this, we could even have that FAAB on the dead Wednesday of the All Star break. This accomplishes these things..... It gives us something to think about during the tedium of the break. It won't interfere with Sunday's FAAB for other teams. It'll also give us access to those players before t...

Re: FAAB-U-LESS

I've been saying this for awhile, I think for the NFBC to take it to the next level, it needs a true best ball format and I really like this concept. I'd honnestly probably sign up for 10 of these this year if I could. Last year I had 5 FAAB leagues and it's the absolute most I can handle and it's a...

It's nice to be able to pair the big 3 hitters with Clevinger or/and Strasburg. Not gonna be like that in March
