Re: Live Scoring
Let's stop sugar coating this, live scoring needs a lot of work. I like a lot of what's here but there is a lot of work to do.

Re: March 24th Main Event Draft Orders Are On Team Pages
Thanks for the explanation Greg. It was like waking up on Christmas Day, seeing that shiny new blue bike, then rubbing your eyes and seeing an ugly sweater in its place. The good news is that we'll be in Vegas drafting fantasy baseball teams, so who has it better than us? I'd say the kid that ended...

Re: Slow pokes and Draft Champion Leagues
It's time to move these down by an hour at least. The consideration should not only be opening day but the massive amount of leagues being drafted next weekend. This year is different because of the timing of opening day.

Re: Slow pokes and Draft Champion Leagues
I'm kinda hoping the clock reductions in current drafts come fairly soon. I would rather see a gradual reduction of the clock, rather than just a big reduction at the end. Four hours to three hours would at least be a nudge in four hour drafts. My draft is in its ninth day and 16th round. A no hope...

Re: Slow pokes and Draft Champion Leagues
There is just a strange sense of complacency that has taken place in the new drafts with 2 hour time limits. It used to be 3 or so players that would consistently take hours at a time off the clock and the rest would go like mad men to keep the thing going. Now we have 6-8 players routinely taking 1...

Re: Waiting for news
2 hour draft, day 3 in the 8th round. We've had 13 picks so far today. What is wrong with this picture? Greg, It's time to lower this slow draft down to an hour per pick in effort to beat opening day. I'm pretty sure we'll have to lower it from there.

Re: Waiting for news
Dick move. I think as often as it works out, they wind up overreacting to some faulty initial report and screwing themselves so it evens out. Minus the inconvenience to the competitors with enough confidence in their abilities that they don't feel the need to resort to cheap shit like this. It is s...

The absolute worst response possible. It's attitudes like this that kill the passion within many of us for this format.Bjs2025 wrote:Obviously fair game considering its within the rules. I'll never understand the "slow drafter" bitching. It's what you signed up for

Re: Slow pokes and Draft Champion Leagues
I believe future slow drafts should have total time limits rather than a shorter clock as this gives more leeway to the guy who occasionally needs a full 4 hours vs those that are consistently slowing down drafts. Finishing in 3 weeks is a very reasonable pace for 50 rounds, which is 336 hours of a...

Re: Slow pokes and Draft Champion Leagues
It just happened again to a different drafter. Now if Honeywell had not been placed back in the player pool this different player would have gotten a more relevant (kind of) player. For now the different drafter has Honeywell. I think he should get him replaced as did the other player. It's the 46th...

Re: Slow pokes and Draft Champion Leagues
I think this has gotten blown out of proportion. This will not determine the overall winner of the contest. Should it lead to a change in how time outs are handled? I think it should. It is most likely that the admin at the time did not realize that it was a timed out situation. I think it deserves ...

Re: Slow pokes and Draft Champion Leagues
It only takes 2-3 owners to kill a draft. i have a feeling the 2 hour drafts will solve this problem and be a big hit. 8-) In a 2 hour draft we have a couple of guys who time out constantly. The rest go through a break neck pace to keep it moving and it will finish in a reasonable amount of time. T...

Re: Target Goals
If you had a team last year you can go to the stats website and pull up the overall standings. You will find all of the competitions listed. Go to draft campions and they will then have it listed by category.

Re: New 4hr DC League Format
At this point it's all about expectations. I'm doing one 2 hour draft as prep. The guy on the turn burns 4 hours at the 6/7 turn and it feel like an eternity. It almost feels the same as the guy who burnt 16 hours during the 8 hour draft. I signed up expecting 4 rounds per day and it will probably b...

Great addition!. This will really help the players at or near the tuns in each draft to utilize the Auot function. It should be utilized by all players late in the draft. It can only help the pace of play!

Re: Review - 2 Hour Draft Champion League
I’ve only been around here for 6 years. The slow play threads every February are a constant and make it feel like the season is right around the corner. Bring on Pitchers and Catchers. One (2 hour) slow draft is all I can stomach. I’ll probably join back in the thread in a couple of weeks. Lol

Re: Slow pokes and Draft Champion Leagues
2HR DCs now created!!!!! Bye bye slow poke f*ckers!!! May you all stew together in your slow cook draft and that it takes 2 months to complete since you can’t rely on more “attentive” owners to bail you out with quick picks. The Gekko of old!! It has to make some of us feel a bit nostalgic and brin...
