Re: Win A 2016 NFBC Main Event Entry On Fanduel

15 different winners in 15 weeks. Pretty cool. Good job all and thanks for participating. We'll try it one more time next week. Are you saying next week will be the last one of these contests this season? This has been a really fun promotion. I've been looking forward to Tuesday every week. Not nec...

Re: July Deadline Trades

I'm most interested in what the Met's do. I can see their fans lining up at Citi with pitch forks if they don't add some offense. Philly will also be fascinating. (Hamels/Papelbon) We've waited so long on both. They may wanna come down a little bit from your best 7 prospects and first 2 newborns on ...

Re: Meet the Matz

If I remember right (I may not), Roy Halladay had a STRAINED lat and missed six or seven weeks. This is not good, no matter how the Mets portray it (again). The Mets are a piece of work. James Paxton missed 4 months last year with Strained Lat. I'm going to guess we see him next in Port St. Lucie i...

Meet the Matz

Mets rookie left-hander Steven Matz has apparently suffered a significant lat muscle injury, that could sideline him for several weeks, the New York Daily News reports. Meanwhile it was known that he was dealing with a lat issue after his first start. As a franchise, wouldn't you skip this talent at...

Re: Win A 2016 NFBC Main Event Entry Via Fanduel

Jason - I'm assuming you saw how things played out? You were up 50.41 to 50.33. Second place team was done. You had just Cano who was in extra innings. Cano comes up in the 11th. With an out, you drop to 50.16. Instead he hits a walkoff single for 2 points and a 52.41 final score. Maybe it's better...

Thanks guys. What a pleasant surprise this morning when I checked the standings. I had given up around 11PM last night.

I look forward to this every Tuesday. Good job getting the link up early Monday evening.

Agree with recent comments. Let's keep this going weekly. It's something I look forward to each week. We have a regular crew playing every week for a solid base. Just open the window to public earlier.

888 entries? OMG, that is not even normal. As I think TLC said it best, "don't go chasing waterfalls, stick to the lakes & the rivers that you're used to..." I will not be chasing the DFS waterfalls, and will continue to stick to the NFBC lakes & rivers and being devoured by the sharks & wh...

Re: Let's revisit Friday lineup changes for P

I was always in the "leave it as is" camp, but after reading some pretty compelling reasons/examples I'm absolutely for making this change for the better of the game. As COZ alluded to, if I have to go in to adjust my offense for Friday it's gonna take a fraction of the time to check if I had a pitc...

Re: $$ALERT$$ Maikel Franco - 3B Phillies

Gekko, we applaud your efforts to help your fellow competitors. It's also nice to see a Phillie on your report. In a full year of AAA last year, Franco hit .257 and slugged .428 and he was called up to one of the worst offenses in baseball. MLB.com ranked him the #55 prospect in the minors this sea...

Re: $$ALERT$$ Maikel Franco - 3B Phillies

It appears the Phillies will call up third base prospect Maikel Franco this weekend, as last night they optioned third baseman Cody Asche to AAA to learn to play left field. By waiting till this weekend, the Phillies can retain his rights through the 2021 season. Franco is hitting .341 with four ho...

Re: What Do You Want For Tuesday Night DFS Contest?

I also like the current format and price structure. I think the Sunday idea would also work since most FAAB work is probably done closer to the deadline rather than 1PM. The downside would be that we wouldn't see the ESPN Sunday night 8PM lineup so you'd be eliminating a game to choose from for many...

Re: You Can Now Export Free Agent Lists To Excel

This should be fixed now and you won't get that error message again. It wasn't popping up because of old Excel documents; I'm not sure exactly why that was popping up. But everyone should be able to use this now without any problems. If you see any issues, let me know, but take advantage of this ni...

The new "Search" tool for the FAAB process is a great addition. I may not be using correctly so far so please correct me if I am missing anything. I am not very good at much, and technology is not on that short list. Getting a message that says "The file you are trying to open is not a valid Excel XML Speadsheet." You can open the file as text in Excel. Then a bunch of jibberish comes up that is not free agent information. If anyone has any s...

..... How do we get one of those $2500 New York Style Auction Leagues in Vegas next year? Those payouts look pretty good. Re: 450 Teams In The 2015 NFBC Main Event

Well, you could easily add $450 to each league and make it: 1st Place - $6,750 2nd Place - $3,300 3rd Place - $1,700 And add a 12th Place Overall for $1,500. Or you could increase 2nd-10th Overall to: 1st Place - $125,000 2nd Place - $35,000 3rd Place - $25,000 4th Place - $12,500 5th Place - $8,00...

The message boards have gone from bad to worse. Seems as if every other post is either from Deadheadz or announcing every injury or both. I haven't posted much this year and don't plan on it. The boards have been ruined and unfortunately there doesn't appear to be a solution. I just hope that this ...
