Re: PreMature E-Draftulation Results

Maybe Zola or someone could send link to draft grid (without everyone’s names if that’s how it needs to be). Rizzo over Bryant certainly makes sense. However, you know a lot of us. Why would we want a model of consistency when we have that “upside” that the other guy may go .300-40-120. Although reg...

Re: John Pausma Wins The 2018 NFBC Main Event & $125,000

It’s the old cobra kai mantra “the enemy deserves no mercy”... John showed no mercy this year on the nfbc.

Complete and utter domination.

Congrats on an awesome year.

Timetable on Payouts

Greg, What will the time table be on receiving our winnings ? I am assuming mid to late October ? Also, any incentive this year if we leave some of our winnings in our accounts to put toward 2019 nfbc teams? I could be mistaken but I thought last year, we were given a bonus toward buying a nfbc team...

Yep, make up game that is part of the 162 game season is fine but these tiebreaker games extending the season I would not include.

Re: Stuff and Such

I don't know Stan the person. I've drafted against Stan the nfbc player in a few DCs and I think in the premature league too. Great to hear that he has gotten back managing his DC teams. Hope you are doing better, Stan. September baseball... Franmil Reyes, Melky Cabrera, Jeff McNeil, Tyler Austin, R...

Re: What Does The 2019 First Round Look Like To You?

I will finish out round 1 as I’m team 15 in the upcoming Premature league. A Mondesi, I’m coming for you!! Actually, I still have business to attend to in our current premature league. The Bombers are fading fast. Likely a costly mistake by me not playing Jon Gray this week. He’s truly been a headac...

The premature (draftulatuion) league

I can’t believe that this league is only a month away from drafting ... I’d like to keep my spot and participate in the 2019 league if commissioner Kenyon, the headhunters, and the the rest are willing .

Re: Urena

Urena said he tried to run the ball in on him but didn't mean to hit Acuna... If I remember correctly, I heard on sportscenter that it was also the fastest pitch Urena had thrown all season. Sure, intent is hard to prove but not in the court of public opinion where Urena is guilty. On a positive not...

Re: FAAB

Good post and so true, Doughy.

Greg, thanks for the response and the update.

If you (IT guys) can get faab running smoothly, there is no doubt that it is way better than the way we used to do faab at STATS. Here's hoping to a strong finish to the faab baseball season.

Re: Tailgating with Greg and Tom in Milwaukee

That sounds like an awesome weekend. I too was surprised Nola pitched poorly yesterday. I got to see him on opening day at Sun Trust. If memory serves me right, Kapler pulled him after 5 innings of shutout baseball... The bullpen blew the 5-0 lead and Markakis hit a 3 run shot to win it in the botto...

Re: Mid season league

It's possible; I think there was a mention of it at some point earlier this year. Let us circle the wagons and see what we can come up with. Greg or Tom, While I have no interest in redraft leagues monthly, the nfbc used to do a few mid season leagues in June including the don mathis league. I alwa...

Faab Results

Any chance we can get faab results back down to about 20 minutes each Sunday? Not a deal breaker but I'd be able to finish lineup setting a little earlier on a Sunday night. If not possible, it's ok. I just thought it ran quicker earlier in the year.

Re: Ronald Acuña

Acuna Matata for braves hitting. Ender setting the table with 10 steals! Maybe Young having some influence here. If you don’t have Albies on a fantasy team this year, you’re missing out (or maybe you have Didi in your infield and your Albies-less team is just fine). Freeman appears to have 2 healthy...

Mid season league

Greg or Tom, While I have no interest in redraft leagues monthly, the nfbc used to do a few mid season leagues in June including the don mathis league. I always liked this and loved adding a league midseason. I’m probably in the minority here but any chance to bring back a few midseason league optio...
