Re: Satellites and Auctions
Seconded. I just had 6 OC Auction Championships refunded and I'd like to put some of that money back into auctions, even if they're standalone leagues. It's understandable if it's not feasible to spread things too thin with so many different contests on such a short timeline, and if that's the case ...

Re: OFFICIAL NFBC STATEMENT
Obviously this is a very difficult situation, and I do not envy anybody in a position to make tough decisions. But it is clear that any live event occurring over the next two weekends needs to be cancelled. It's simply reckless to move forward with them. The earlier that decision is made, the better...

Re: NFBC To Begin Charging Compliance Fees In 2020
I understand why you need to do this, and being midway through draft season, implementation is necessarily clunky since you can't really adjust payouts. However, I hope for the future it's a bit more logical. I play multiple auction leagues each year and there are never packages for those for some ...

When do the credits show up in our accounts? I see the cash winnings but credits still shows $0.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Is It Time To Discuss IP Minimums Going Forward?
I'd be in favour of this. But I can't see the site as a whole making such a drastic change. I really don't like Wins as a category at all, though, so I'd support any changes to this that can get enough traction.

Re: Team Stats - Fantasy YTD
The width on the team stats pages should be constrained so we don't need to use a ruler to check across the columns and rows. I'm sure not as many use these pages as I do, they probably use Live Scoring each night. But I like to check the previous day's stats each morning. It's a very quick and simp...

Re: Overeager Draftingness
There's slight risk in guys that are heavily weighted to one category over another because if they get injured it's hard to replace those steals without hurting every other category. But Turner is pretty solid across the board. He's not a one category player, he's above average in every category exc...

Re: Overeager Draftingness
The obvious rebuttal here is that Turner's performance from 2018 is worthy of a first-round pick. He doesn't need to get better to be a top 10 player. He just needs to stay the same. Plug .271/103/19/73/43 into your preferred valuation system. If it doesn't spit out first round value, then I think t...

Re: Prizes Are In Accounts - Here's How You Claim Them
I'm from Canada so don't have a social security number, and therefore can't complete the W9 form. Maybe I did something wrong... ? I've never had an issue in the past trying to claim prizes.

Re: Last Week of FAAB: Good Luck Everyone
Also, just a reminder that in the NFBC stats are accumulated even if there is a 163rd tie-breaker game on Monday. Major League Baseball counts those statistics as part of the regular season and we do as well in the NFBC. There is no FAAB before that Monday game, but owners are able to set their sta...

Re: DL spots
That's a good solution. A one-time use DL spot. It's kind of hard to make DL spots useful without having 3+ of them (since most teams have a DL-eligible player or two at any given time and it's only the teams with 3+ that really are really at a disadvantage), but this does the trick in a different w...

Re: DL spots
Having DL spots or more reserve spots wouldn't make it easier to deal with injuries. This is demonstrably false. It seems like everybody against this is a traditionalist who likes it this way because it's always been this way. There are easy ways to fix all of the concerns people have. Seems like t...

Re: DL spots
I'm 100% against DL spots. The Free Agents are already somewhat limited in a 15-team league, if you remove the top 30 players from the free agent pool, the options would be even more limited. Easy solution for that: remove 2 reserve spots and create 2 (or more) DL spots. Then you still have the sam...

The spread was pretty good, but it's too bad we couldn't have arranged for this for the Chicago auction!! Maybe next year we opt for pizza? haha

Adding more flexibility to ADP ranges would be cool. I've been doing that for years, with Excel formulas, calculating ADP for custom date ranges, but it was tedious work. Another lost market inefficiency!

At what point will we know for sure if the NL Auction is going to happen? It'll be my only NL league this year so all the prep is for this one, be a shame if we don't get enough participants.

Re: Who designed the Braves SunTrust Stadium?
I'm 33 years old and this is the third stadium, all in Atlanta, that I can actively remember the Braves playing in. Doesn't seem that long ago I was watching Kelly Gruber doing the chop down the third base line during the World Series at Atlanta Fulton County Stadium.

It looks like the best route is to go back to CBS/Fantrax/ESPN/Yahoo-based leagues that will do the admin work for free or a nominal cost, all of which already have fully functional draft and auction software in place, and handle the funds separately through LeagueSafe which takes a 0% commission. ...
