Re: Favorite Stadium
My friends from high school and I started a Keeper fantasy football league in 2007, about 10 years after we all graduated highschool as a way to keep in touch as most of us moved away from NY. On a side note I have done fantasy football since my sophomore year (1994) and even played the sport senior...

Re: So What The Hell Happened Tonight?
Great move Greg, I enjoy reading these boards and occasionally posting a message. On a side note how does one add a picture to their screenname? Yep that is the most relevant question I got today. Thanks again all oh and good luck to those in the Main except the ones drafting online March 28th with ...

Re: 2015 NFBC Early Draft Results
Someone brought up a good point earlier in regards to Trout, there are probably owners who would pick someone else #1 and if your are on of those guys then the only logical move is to put the #1 spot as your last KDS preference since it will be a wasted spot if you are not taking Trout #1

Re: Main Event KDS
Thanks guys for the replies, I do always enjoy setting my KDS up, and this being my 3rd year in the Main(4th+5th entries) I just wanted to get some fresh eyes into the do's and don'ts or strategy in making said selections, I assumed that many leave there's unchanged but where is the fun or strategy ...

Main Event KDS
Gentleman, without getting into specifics particularly this year's draft....
I wanted to know what criteria do you use when coming up with your KDS for that season's draft?
What tools if any do you use?
What trends if any do you look for?
Ultimately how do you decide your season's KDS.

Re: Anyone in a more competitive Main Event?
More competitive league? No but im in one just as competitive as that...well since im in your league, im one of the 4 teams on the next tier all within striking distance at between 91.5-95.5 points. This week I gave the league a great gift by the name of Marlon Byrd, it should be fun to see who wins...

Re: New Position Eligibility countdown
I'm loving that 8th game of eligibility...not all Chris' created equal...id much rather be playing Chris Young over Chris Johnson..or even EYjr. If he gets back into the rotation....not that he was a world beater but Chris Johnson has been downright not good so far

Re: Pros and cons of adding DL spots
:geek: Here's how I see it in a nutshell. Most fantasy baseball sites with DL slots give you 5 bench and either 1 or 2 DL slots. NFBC gives us 7 bench slots so we have room for players who are DL or not, over and above the 5 they may have chosen to give us when they came up with the rules. To me th...

Martinez owners will be glad to see him at 1b for the 6th time this year...not sure if he gets it by May 5th...but May 12th could be real reasonable

Re: And the hits just keep on coming....
7 man benches are enough. If you have to drop a minor leaguer, those are the chances you take when you draft that player. You're already playing a spot down for 2 to 3 months, at least. Those are the drawbacks when taking such a player. If there were DL spots, we might as well make the 15 team Main...

Re: And the hits just keep on coming....
The whining on these boards is starting to remind me of football -- and we are still many months away from that adventure. Guys --- the NFBC is the best of the best. Especially at the highest levels (which I don't play). This needs to be a challenge. Drafted guys that got hurt? That's why you can p...

Matt yep I(heenan family) had bid 300 on him and Valverde didnt finish in top 2 on either one...oh well. I'll surely find a way to blow my money on next weeks prize, at least i drafted Blackmon (smart enought to start him on monday, but real stupid of me to bench him this weekend OUCH!!!!)

Re: Win $200,000 In The Debut NFBC Platinum League
Is there a link in which we can follow the standings in this league? I followed the draft online and would be interested in checking out the standings time to time especially since i had liked a few teams after the draft especially that of Glenn Which Glenn? If it's Glenn Schroter's team, then I ag...

I took Chris Johnson in the 24th and it seems his ADP in most other main events was 3-5 rounds higher...but I guess that doesn't really fit the profile you're looking for with this question
