I think the biggest problem could loom with your pitching staff. If Wainwright and/or Papelbon close it'll make for a long year, especially with J Johnson on the shelf.

What are Piazza and Jenkins doing on this team? Most of this squad will get carded at their local pub.

I thought it was a great team when I saw your draft before the season started.
A solid foundation and theory but it falls apart with pitchers not meeting your expectations. I wouldn't change anything in regards to strategy.

Where did I go wrong?
First, give yourself credit for landing Shields, Hudson, Matthews Jr, Durham, and Padilla with your last 10 picks. Five players playing above a level expected in the last 10 picks is great drafting. Coincidence or not, Shandler missed with the same players that didn't come through for you last year,...

The Pirates have said that they will hit Sanchez, LaRoche, and Bay at 3,4, and 5 in their lineup. Two questions come to mind. Do they know what they have in Jason Bay? And What dirt does Jack Wilson have on Pirate Mangement?

Todd, Some questions. 1. Is it true that this year you have selected Santana with the first pick of a draft (non NFBC), while bypassing Santana with the 9th pick of the Shawn Childs League and picking Cabrera? If so, was it the different leagues or rules behind the thought process? 2. I think Shandl...
