Re: Breaks during drafts- Can we re-visit

I really don't see the need for long breaks during these drafts unless you are having internet issues. I had participated in 6 main event drafts in Vegas, Orlando and Chicago prior to participating in last year's online Main Event and the online version was by far the longest and most excruciating i...

Re: Feb. 19th $150 Fast/Slow Draft League Draft Order

Re: the catchers and closers, the draft started to mirror the overall main more than a single league slow team, that was evident by the way the guys were playing it. Certain guys fell, but I think it was more a product of how people were building their teams. There were some solid starters that fell...

Re: Feb. 19th $150 Fast/Slow Draft League Draft Order

1. Be prepared 2. Be able to pick in less than 30 sec 3. Do not try and keep track of others picks (unless you are very very fast) 4. Fill up your draft queue as others are picking It's really that simple. :) That is pretty much it. With the sharks that were circling in this draft, you had to have ...

Re: Feb. 19th $150 Fast/Slow Draft League Draft Order

Agree, great draft. After doing a few of the slow drafts, this one actually felt much more like the Main than those have.

Even with the glitch, I thought everyone had a good command of the player pool and the drafted moved quite well.

Re: Using Mobile Devices for Slow Drafts

Robert, Again not a techie here....do you think I'll be able to draft via HTML on MDC? If I recall from my experience today, I was pretty much stopped in my tracks on MDC with Flash. Any help appreciated! Thanks everyone. From what I remember trying to do a MDC draft from an airplane (no flash), wa...

Re: Using Mobile Devices for Slow Drafts

I am not a techie myself, but I travel quite a lot so I am constantly finding new ways to use the iPad and Android phone. You more than likely will not be able to use Mock Draft Central's site on either device. They would have to have an HTML option. This is also true for anyone trying to do a draft...

Using Mobile Devices for Slow Drafts

I am not sure everyone is aware of this, but its a feature that will no doubt speed up some of the current Slow Drafts. With the HTML option being available to owners this year, you don't have to marry yourself to your laptop or PC to complete the draft. I have used an Ipad, Ipod and Android device ...

Great draft to all of those involved. It was a grueling 5 1/2 hours and I know the next 5 1/2 months won't get much easier.

Good luck to all.
