If you had the Lakers plus 7 1/2, you lost.Stick to fantasy baseball. Then again, I should see your roster before saying that.
Thank you and have a nice day.

A little late Baltic but to answer your question, the NBA is almost always very tight with lines unlike college games where you see alot of 18-25 point lines.
Home court advantage in the NBA means a ton, especially when it comes to the pointspread. While the Jazz arent what they were when Malone/Stockton were there, it is still regarded as a very tough place to play. The fans are on top of the court, its usually always sold out, and the altitude factor can sometimes affect visiting teams. Plus the Jazz run a sophisticated offense that is a little different than most NBA teams who play streetball like they are on the AND 1 tour.
The Lakers arent what they used to be, and have been in a pretty bad tailspin, so all of those factors combined, make up the line.
If the Jazz were having the type of year that they have been accustomed to usually having, this line would have been 5-7 points higher.
